I think he was trying to get out with a huge new deal for a year or more. If so, that explains what has happened with player development.

Sure, why not? Mr. Magoo is obviously a better coach; better at getting more out of his talent than what we’ve been able to get. Sad, isn’t it?

Louisville barely got past a weak Western Kentucky team. Cards QB does not look like a GA 4* recruit who received offers from Bama and Auburn. At least when he thought he had a chance to land him, Fedora was big on Jawon Pass.

Back in the Spring, I noted that the game at Cuse could prove the determinant for the season and careers for both coaches. If Fedora has any chance to keep his job, he must beat Syracuse. Babers was 3-9 each of his first 2 seasons. If he loses to UNC and again fails to make a bowl, he may be toast even with a big win each season.
