This is all the more reason to draft an elite WR in this draft. What if KB goes down again? What if Olsen goes down? After KB you have the Funchess, and then Ginn and 86-year-old Jerricho Cotchery.
a) that's true of any NFL team, since most would fare poorly losing either of their top 2 receiving threats and b) there are only so many spots on the roster.

Seems to be a common theme that the players didn't like the dude at all. Not that the GM has to be everyone's bro, but there still has to be at least some mutual respect / like... or the chemistry issues will eventually surface.
Definitely odd considering training camp starts in a week. And, the assistant GM left a few months ago for the Bills. He would've likely been the first option to replace DG.
