So if all that is true where does Simpson stand if flowe commits? Does Dabo pull an offer or back out of the running with flowe?
Sorry, just now swinging back through. Flowe is no longer being recruited by Clemson. Like I said in my first post, Brent went to California last week and basically told Flowe it was time to svit or get off the pot, so to speak.

Also, Dabo doesn't pull offers. The Clemson staff doesn't offer a prospect unless they are satisfied that both parties are "All In". This is one of the main reasons Dabo is able to pull off the "once you commit you can't take any more visits" policy. If we offer and you commit we won't pull the offer unless there is some reason such as grades or discipline but won't process guys for higher rated recruits. Clemson basically has no decommits ever anymore. We lost Juwan Briscoe to Georgia in the '14 class I believe, pulled Cordarrin Richardson's offer in '16 because of academic fraud, and had Shaq Smith decommit because he wanted to take visits in '16 but he ultimately recommitted. That's literally it over the past 5+ years. Says a lot about Dabo's philosophy.

We're not going to win too many recruiting battles with Clemson head-to-head right now for 5 star atheletes....

Clemson has the #1 recruiting class right now, and are just on another level....A level that the Tar Heels hope to be one day, but are not at the moment....

Still a good class, and one that will be very important with 12 early enrollees....
Correctamundo on all counts.

and 4 stars? if clemson really wants a particular 4 star they'll get him, even nc kids. it's a dynasty.
Again, very true.

Fixed it for you.

Glad you clarified the not pulling offers because I was about to say you have done so. Not sure who it was but when guys commit and take other visit the offer will be pulled and no I have no idea how many times this may have happened.

No doubt Dabo will pull an offer if a kid hasn't lived up to his end of the deal either academically or behaviorally but he doesn't believe in the SEC method of take any and all commitments you can get and then throw the kids away as more highly touted recruits want on board. As for pulling offers, the only offer that has been pulled over the past five years from a committed prospect was Cordarrian Richardson due to his Memphis high school having a huge academic scandal. Shaq Smith's offer was never actually pulled but he was told he'd need to decommit if he wanted to take other visits and that if he did so we'd start recruiting other linebackers. He decommitted, took his visits, then recommitted. I know this all sounds like just a bunch of homerish sunshine pumping but it's the truth and if you do some research you'll see I'm correct. I wouldn't expect you to research this by the way because it's just not that important.
Are you guys going to hold on to Pinder and do you expect any positive surprises tomorrow? Hope y'all have a great signing day by the way. Have always loved Mack and can't help but pull for the guy. He's one of the good ones and I'm glad to see him back in Chapel Hill.
