PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) -- A Girl Scout is selling boxes of cookies outside of a Portland pot shop Saturday, hoping to raise money for a summer trip to horse camp.

She was selling under the supervision of her aunt, who said they came up with the idea of selling outside Foster Buds Marijuana Dispensary.

The aunt said they had several customers within minutes of setting up their table.

"The Girl Scouts organization said they don't condone this, but it's not against the rules," she said.

“When discussing social injustice, people will likely be offended by some topic,” said Tracy Green, a school spokesperson.

“The drawing is a student’s artistic representation based on the lens through which the student viewed that issue and the student has a First Amendment right to share that opinion.”

Lol. Something tells me if it was certain other groups of people, as opposed to a white cop that was offended, this school spokesperson wouldn't be so quick to chalk it up to being easily offended and cite a First Amendment right to express that particular opinion.

What the what? Interesting article, but some of it is hard to believe. Like the researcher who raised his daughter without ever talking about the color of the sky. Surely she would've heard about it somewhere else like television or from friends. I also think the green square test is a total troll job.
