I have important information @ Zs recruitment. It's a!most certain he will be a Heel. Major boosters from both UNC and Clemson have confirmed it. A good friend of Zs has confirmed it, and Troy knows for sure.
All is left is for him to announce and he'll do it in his time. Just be patient and wait!

Most recent intel I've gotten is that Clemson is perceived to be in the driver's seat. I will also fully admit I am not extremely confident, (as nobody really is when it comes to predicting Zion), but just figured I'd share what I heard. Of course, most expect him to sign in the spring, so a lot could change between now & then.
If he doesn't come to UNC, I wouldn't mind him going to Clemson.

However, Zion has some family pushing him to stay home and he also stayed put at his current high school in Spartanburg, instead of transferring to a big time prep school. So apparently the pull to stay close to home is appealing to him. Of course, he will need to get over that once he gets to the NBA.

Predicted UNC several weeks ago and sticking with it.
It's like chasing furiously after a hard to get girl -- you may want her, but in order to land her, she must want you as well. If I were Roy, I would not be a member of the salivating, sycophantic coaches who are obsessed with Z. I would tell him that there is a spot for him at UNC and he would be a welcome addition, but if he decides to go elsewhere, wish him well. Not really. Has a 25% chance of being right. No one plugged in has a real good feeling of where he is going. Personally, i haven’t felt good about dukes chances for a while. Having said that I’m just guessing like everyone else.
For someone who’s recruitment has drawn so much hype, he’s been really good at keeping the cards close to the chest.
We will win with him, and we will win without him.
