Nassir Little, Rechon Black, Coby White, Armando Bacot, Wendell Moore, Jeremiah Francis

I am somewhat surprised with one name (Bacot) on this list of visitors. If we can get Little, Moore, and Bacot to join Rechon, Coby and Jeremiah I would be a happyi

Do we have 3 more schollies available?

I would be extremely happy to get any two off that list, but I especially want Little! He seems like the type to take losing personally and to be willing to do anything it takes to win!

Auburn his sleeper to win NC. Gary self-confessed Auburn alum who defends auburn as the only truly clean SEC program and acts like cam newton wasn't shady.

We already have 3 off that list...White, Black, and Francis
 
I guess if we land Little then Moore is not as necessary. So following TPF's thinking, :rolleyes:, I'll go with Little and Bacote,

Moore is extremely talented and I would be thrilled to get him. MY love for Little's game is just because I see something a little Old School in him! He seems to be the type that can force/encourage his teammates to raise their effort and make his team better than the sum of their parts. We have had several that fit this description like JB and Hans! (BTW: I am NOT saying he is either!) They end up being integral parts of teams that do special things!

There is no reason to be surprised by Bacot.
 
I have heard multiple peeps say we have no shot at Bacot; do we have a legit shot or is Roy just doing due diligence?

I'd certainly be ecstatic with Little and Bacot!
 
You answered your own question. Wes Miller did it. Believe Luke would be more than happy to if it made the team better. Somebody will declare also.

But the Millers aren't/weren't strapped for cash, from what i've heard on the board.

Just based on my observations of Roy, it just doesn't seem like something he would ask of a player to do for the team. Even if they are capable. Feels like something K would do.

Though I do think if the player chooses to do so it's different, and you could be right about Luke, seeing that he got his 'ship the first year anyway. Though seeing how big a part of the title team he was, I believe he earned his spot and it almost feels unfair to expect that of him.

Just my 2 cents.

WTF are you even talking about? Literally nothing about Auburn's recruiting of Cam was "shady". AU reported Miss State to the NCAA when they found out Rogers down there had offered his dad $$... which is why Miss State tried to cover their asses by accusing Auburn. One more time and read slowly: The NCAA categorically exonerated Auburn and denounced the Cam stuff as "internet rumor and innuendo". Y'know...facts and stuff.

Beyond that I never said Auburn or anyone else in the SEC was a truly clean program. Perhaps you should try reading before you post this sort of crap.

As for being a "sleeper" to win the NC? Well... I'll just say I respect @FlaTarHeel 's opinion, BUT...
Yes, Auburn is easily the second most talented team in the SEC (check their roster if you don't believe me) --- BUT, Bruce has to prove he can coach em up to actually get to the dance first before they start thinking Natty.

Yeah, well... that should actually remove confusion (see my post above). If Bruce wants to keep his job he'd better get all that talent IN the NCAAs, much less think about winning it. Good grief.

Oh... well, I'll say basically the same thing: Gus is loaded with talent --- and AU has the best defense in college football --- but if the offensive side of the ball doesn't step up dramatically from that garbage Saturday then he's gonna lose his job.

Guys, please do not post links to competitors and also do no divulge premium content on here from other sites. Like us, they work very hard to produce premium content and having it as premium keeps our sites going. It's not fair to them and their efforts to have such work posted anywhere here at THI or outside of their own network. I don't want our work on other sites and am certain they don't want their stuff on ours. Please respect this request. Thank you.

What does this hurt? I am not a premium member anywhere and I had already read this article before it was posted here. I like many others, go to multiple sites for information.

1. Posting a link to a competitor's website on a Rivals website is harmful to the Rivals site/brand. They compete for traffic which in turn means ad dollars which helps pay for this site and it's contributors.

2. Posting premium info to a free forum (whether or not this is or isn't) is not cool. People pay for these sites and the content that they provide to premium members first. Posting this info on free forums devalues that piece, which devalues the site, which means money losses.

Pretty clear cut man.

It's because it's a site that clearly competes with us for recruiting information. If it's a daily newspaper, ESPN, a school site, etc, that's not an issue. But this is. Please respect this request, as I am sure they would not want links to our site posted on their board or forums driving people away from them.

  • Matthew Hurt (Sept 18th)

Interesting that he has not set up a visit to see Little yet but I assume it is due to the hurricane/weather in Florida.

So, if I glean information from a relative who is a D1 (or whatever the heck the NC2a calls it these days) coach, I can't share it here?
