Well a perfect START but it is just that.
Lots and lots of golf still to play but the American squad seems to be a on a mission. The duo of Spieth and Reed is VERY good... Reed is cocky but man he plays for my team any day.
DJ and Kooch are really strong as well
I would keep those two parings together and mix and match in the afternoon. Zach Bulldog Johnson needs to play as well

Yeah, I can't wait to see Snedeker. I know a guy who plays in some of the same tournaments I do who use to compete against Brandt (so this guy is obviously a lot better than me, haha). He has nothing but great things to say about him.

clarke just put it out there about mixing pairings b/c of play.
Honestly, and this may be blasphemy given that DL3 is a Tar Heel, but my hopes were never that high with him as the captain. And they will be just as low when Fatty is a captain.

i don't think there's anything wrong saying it...i didn't like the choice either, but it was more about medinah for me...that was an epic collapse and that is really difficult to get past...the lasting memory is woods & furyk choking and phil high-fiving the opponent every hole.
phil eluded to the pods in 2014, but he did so in the f'n press tent after the loss...total lack of sensitivity to the moment, yet he plays this event like it's a club championship.
