Ok gotcha, I was trying to google the rule, and it looks like it's at the conference's discretion. It can either be two years, a year but you lose that year of eligibility as well, or you lose your scholarship, based on the info that I saw. But yeah, looks like 2 years is the most common. So Bolden would be a senior in school but a sophomore in eligibility if he were to move down 15-501. That would be interesting, don't know if he would want to wait that long though.I have always heard that it was 2 years. I remember many years ago UNC had a lineman who's twin brother was at moo and he transferred to moo and didn't sit out 2 years. Maybe the rule changed or maybe the school can waive it. Anybody remember who that lineman was? It was long ago.
ETA: I in no way actually believe he would transfer to us, just an interesting hypothetical
