Duval's choice next season is going to be NBA or Duke's bench.
He best go NBA or transfer.

Then you would be wrong.
Zions height and weight have been lied about constantly. He is 6’5, 275 according to the ONLY official measuring system he subjected himself to (usa basketball) Obviously a freak athletically to move that size of a frame like he does but really where would he have started at? I mean dont get me wrong if coach williams wants a guy then i aint second guessing him for one minute. But imo he wasnt going to just walk in here and be handed a starting spot and start putting up 20/10 per game.
I watched the whole game and thought Johnson and/or Kenny were more impressive throughout the WHOLE game, without even looking at stats. Berry took over for a few minutes in the second half but didn't Kenny keep us in it in the first half hitting 5 threes? Johnson had 18 and a career high 13 rebounds and was the key for when we went small to grab rebounds. You would get a strong argument from a lot of folk who know the game and watch more than just numbers.
How can you say "in no way"? Berry was a beast last night. He was great floor general, attacked the basket with no fear. He was locking down on defense. Mostly played on Duval and Allen.
5-18 for 18 points combined. Did he even sit in the 2nd half? Come on man, I don't know what game you were watching.
Not really. Berry played great in the second half but was average in the first. He took over for a stretch in the second but also shot horrificallly (7-20 , 1-8 3PT). Cameron Johnson and Kenny Williams were more impressive throughout the whole game.
Doesn't matter honestly because we won. No point in arguing who had the best game but Johnson having 18 and a career high 13 rebounds was damn impressive, especially with his timely threes.
Word.I didn’t read every poast so it’s probably already been said, but good god almighty did it feel good to see Berry actually get some foul calls his way driving to the basket. Rewatched the game. He should be living at the line.
Berry didn't just "take over", he owned the game. He completely dictated tempo ---whether we needed to go fast or slow down --- moved and manipulated their defense and maintained spacing, got everyone involved, created mismatches and took full advantage when he did. Oh, and he fouled out their PG along the way. On defense he was a disruptor on and off the ball, neutralized his man and created 4 TOs, and while he was at it got on the defensive glass.I watched the whole game and thought Johnson and/or Kenny were more impressive throughout the WHOLE game, without even looking at stats. ...and hopefully transparently passive-aggressive sniping will find a much-needed retirement. We should be thankful Joel didn't shoot more threes than he did, what with that 'hitch' in his shot and whatever has gotten in his head.
Hopefully, he'll rebound and come back around to being the great shooter we know him to be.

As I said above, there's plenty of props to go around and Cam stepped up big-time, but laughing at the idea that JB was the best player on the floor is WAY off-base. Basketball is about a lot more than just numbers (although 21 and 6 is pretty sporty). Bilas singled him out for a very good reason. That was JB's floor Thursday and everyone else was playing on it. That was as beautiful a job of floor generalship (to go along with excellent individual play) as you're gonna see.
