Tatum suffers foot injury

Yeah, you're wrong. Unless I'm a schizophrenic with a dual personality, I have no idea who butterbutt is or where he comes from.

Not all of us agree on everything, such is life.

Certainly it's harder to pickup in a message board, but I was being sarcastic. I was making a ridiculous statement to make it sound like I had convincing evidence.

I don't know, cb34. I mean, your likes to total messages ratio is virtually identical (62.9% to 62.7%), which means you provide the same quality of content. And you replied within a minute of bb. So you're probably the same person, just using two different browsers.

But seriously, why does it matter if one board member sees things differently? Why does it matter if someone goes to another site and criticizes someone? I don't think they do it because they're a secret Dook fan. I think they do it because they view some of the thoughts, opinions, and statements embarrassing to our fanbase. Perhaps a little insecure, but I'm guessing they want others to know that not all Carolina fans think like that. Imagine that.

It's fine and dandy. People can do what they want. I just said it's sad. If you want to call someone a moron, arrogant or stupid, say it to them. I find it sad they need to go to a rivals board to say those things....

Waaah cry me a river. "Bashing our own". Get over yourself. No, we are not the same person. And yes, there are about 4 of Us who thinks that dsouth posts like a 3rd grader. And yes we said it over there as well as over here. It's no big secret. If you all are so butt hurt over it say it straight out here instead of beating around the bush, but keep in mind while your being holier than thou that very often said poster was the first to go on the attack in almost every thread.

Also, why archer decided to call me out I have no idea. I haven't even posted over there in days and there are plenty of other thr guys who have who have said things that I'm sure wouldn't sit well with the apparent taddle tale crowd here.

Lol. Sad. You are legit crying.

Except when that happens, then it becomes a mudslinging contest and threads get locked.

I understand, we're supposed to take care of our own dirty laundry. But it's really a no win situation. You either follow the crowd or you're a traitor.

I pretty much said it here as well pal. I am honored that youre keeping such close tabs on my posts, though. I feel genuinely awful from the bottom of my heart that its so sad to you. But Im confident youll find a way to get over it.

You seem to be advocating a sort of sheep mentality here as IN thr=good and DI =bad.
Sorry, I don't go along with that line of thinking. I will post what I feel regardless of wether a certain group likes it and another doesn't.

I'm a unc fan who enjoys the rivalry. On the court I dislike duke as much as anyone here trust me. But...Just because I have a membership here doesn't mean I've signed into some imaginary message board lemming club where only certain thoughts are allowed.

Continue doing what you are doing on the Duke board. Keep feeding the wolves.

Sk, man, the problem with the individual you are going at it with is that he does not remotely care about showing any level of respect to you or anyone else. He has flatly stated that any opinion that does not agree with his own is BS. You just can not have a reasonable discussion with someone that is unwilling to respect the opinions of others and considers opinions that are not lock step with his own to be BS.

Oh boy here we are spreading more ignorance. I believe my exact quote was "we are taught to respect all opinions(which is utter bs)". Has nothing to do with wether those opinions agree with mine or not.

Let me give you an example so perhaps you can move beyond your blatantly false assumptions. If someone tells you that you that water isn't wet or that the earth is really a dragons left testicle- and that you ,dsouth, stand or sit dangling from said dragons testicle.. and they give you no facts to back it up, they just assume it's good enough because it's their precious "opinion".Now, would you "respect" that opinion and should you? Or-would you respect that persons right to express that opinion but at the same time recognize their opinion had no basis in reality and thusly had not earned your respect? Can you see or tell the difference? I hope so. I know it's a ridiculous example but I didn't want to use anything controversial as I feel like many here are sensitive enough as is.

That's rich coming from someone who had a melt down and declared he was leaving the board, only to come back 12 hours later.

You nearly had another one the other day over the PJ and Vanderbilt thing.

But because my replies may be longer than you want does not grant the right to rip on me personally with silly name calling or making up things I didn't say.

It's okay if you use silly name calling, though, right?

Edit: DSouthr previously wrote a couple sentences about cb34 being a robot, but he has since removed that comment.

This thread could probably be locked up at this point. Tatum's injury is only minor so there's not much to speculate anymore. All we've seen lately ITT are personal insults and petty arguments. I probably haven't helped with the cause, admittedly. I enjoy the occasional off-topic banter, but I think most can see where this conversation is heading.

Copy,paste it, save it

I will be back to own it

Somewhere in outer Mongolia, a village is missing it's idiot.

Once again, an injury necessitating a band aid has been portrayed by the dookies as an amputation. Time to lock this one up Mods.

I reckon Tru felt that if folks were gonna take a stick and beat a hornets nest that he was darn sure gonna get his turn at bat! LOL

Even better if Tatum and Giles can get an exception and apply the "Kyrie Irving RULE". The Kyrie Irving Rule allows a Duke player to play a few games for Duke and jump to the NBA and exclude Duke completely as the college attended on the player profile. The Kyrie Irving Rule allows a player to list his player profile as "jumping directly to the NBA from high school" excluding the college name altogether. That's one of the reasons I love Kyrie Irving as a player. Officially, he never attended Duke. Just like Labron James and many others, Kyrie Irving jumped directly from high school to the NBA. Duke is not listed on his player profile.
You know that this isn't true right?

For all practical purposes, it's true. It proves there is very little "developing" OAD's, their talent alone guarantees the next level. This BS about Cal and Knight Lite "developing" talent is a myth. Now Roy develops talent.

This argument is kind of goofy. Yeah Irving could have gone just about anywhere and been drafted in the lottery after a year, along with several other OAD players from other programs but that doesn't mean Roy develops kids better than the coaches that land OAD players. I mean if Roy actually lands one of the OAD players that he recruits every year does he suddenly stop being able to develop talent?

My point is that Cal and Knight Lite get credit for developing all this OAD talent, when in fact they don't. They just use them for a year and then shuffle them on to the pros.

It really is not a goofy argument at all, considering that Roy had to develop the players that we played the national title game with this past season. Roy didn't any of those hired guns come in for a semester or 2, clearly a situation where Roy is getting more with less. Here we are again, top 10 pre-season and no one & done hired guns, nothing but a team of developed players or those that will be developed.

You don't have OAD players true but it's not as if Roy is taking guys off the street and turning them into a top 10 team. There are some really talented guys on your team including a lot of burger boys.

And yet, as you say, there are no one & doners meaning there are no players that came in already equipted with a NBA ready game. Look at our players for this coming season, they have all been developed, none were NBA ready coming in nor after a single season.

It also depends on how you look at it. Roy is getting a ton of talent. Those players just arent leaving early. Last year UNC had 6 McDs AAs and this year UNC has 6 McDs AAs. I would assume that is 3rd behind Duke and UK.

In the final rankings, Justin Jackson was ranked ahead of Winslow. Many on this board were also saying "Berry dominated Tyus Jones in AAU play."

Justin Jackson was ranked #11 in the final rivals rankings. He's the only player ranked in the top 13 still in college.

Of the 2014 Rivals top 10 "forwards" only 3 are still in college: Jackson, Pinson and Dwayne Morgan.

Isaiah Hicks was ranked number 16. He's 1 of 3 in the top 16 still in college.

^^^^^^
Classic dook spin. First they disparage our recruiting efforts, bragging about how much better their classes are. Then, when we talk about Roy doing more with less and developing talent, they talk about how much talent we have. dookies are a never ending source of hilarity and hypocrisy.
