The Masters

ESPN must have seen GSD's poast because their headline on the site about Sergio was "Sergio goes Tin Cup."

It also said that the 13 tied the highest score on one hole in Masters history. He must have figured if he couldn't defend his green jacket, he needed to make history another way.

I have learned something in this thread that has nothing to do with golf but certainly explains a lot. @uncboy10 is a cat guy.

Tbh I'm more of a dog guy, but I rescued my cat, and he's way easier to take care of than a dog at the moment.

I think you can eliminate the Cablanasian...he just hit it poorly off the tee and if he continues to do that he will struggle.

Rory and Leishman clearly in the mix and Stenson as well...with Speith on the lead.

Sergio????? God that 15th was as brutal a mess as you will see.

I shot an 12 once on a par 5 in an amateur tournament after going OB three times. Never a 13 though.

This tournament is still completely up for grabs. Spieth is at +4 through 7. If Tiger can shoot 67 or 68 today then he'll be in contention going into the weekend.

I guess what will really suck for Sergio is that after not making the cut he'll haveta stick around until Sunday to go through the Master's rituals on the exchange of green jacket.

LOL

Phil doing Phil things on number 9.

Mickleson with a rough go of it today. +5 through 12.

BTW, it's embarrassing the way ESPN covers Tiger. They went hole-by-hole for him yesterday recapping the day's action. Like, WTF? Why would I care what someone in 26th place did hole-by-hole? Show the fu*kin' leaders.

Great par save for Tiger. Needs to hit one close and give himself a birdie look on the 6th green

Pouring rain late Saturday afternoon as Patrick Reed is slowly easing away with Rory deep in the azaleas and three shots back.

I'm a huge Reed fan so love seeing him doing well. Fowler and Reed are probably my top two favorites. I'm also in a little contest with Rool Golf where you take 6 different golfers and the top four count and am currently top 10 out of 600 or so. Top winner gets a Newport putter. I doubt I win but if Kodaira does decent tomorrow and McIlroy and Bubba flounder a bit I'll have a chance.

Rickie has had a ton of close misses on the green. If those start dropping tomorrow he'll be a contender for sure

Was Faldo pulling for McIlroy over Reed or was that just me?

Gonna be a real good finish Sunday. I picked Rory at the start but anyone of 4 or 5 can win it including Fowler
71 you are most certainly right Sir nick was really cheering and pushing Rory.... says he is the favorite going into Sunday. The UK blood is thicker than water and BTW Rory doesn't like Reed very much, especially since The Ryder Cup battle.

I like Reed's chances if he looks at it as basically a match play event. Then again, he is certainly the more volatile of the two.

I’m halfway expecting him to double bogey the first hole.

Just watched a little of the replay from yesterday and Sir NicK was REALLY on Rors with the cheerleading, starting at 8 when he chipped in.

This is surly a sign of his winning says Nick. He was silent when Reed did the same at 15.

Both of these guys are good guys and I would be happy if either one wins it but I am leaning towards Reed.

Still do NOT count out Ricky or Rahm. Should be a great finish!!

Sir Nick might as well put on a Go Roey T-shirt.

I hope Reed buries that jackass

Great up and down by Reed. I wouldn’t mind Reed winning either. Glad to see Spieth and Fowler back in it. Back nine starting now for the leaders. I love it.

Things will get super interesting if Reed puts one in the water on the back 9. Fowler, Spieth, and Rory are all in striking range if he makes a mistake.

As I type this, Jordan Spieth hits a super human shot off of pine straw to give himself an Eagle look
