Huh? Is Rory considered a heartthrob? I’ve never heard that one. Adam Scott? Sure. But Rory is a goofy looking SOB. Reminds me of Spaulding from Caddyshack.
So now we are debating if a guy looks good or not? OOTB is going downhill.
Do you even interact with other human beings in your day-to-day life? Lol.
Hot guy draft on the DP Show was one of the funnier 20 minutes in sports talk radio.
So to follow up on this “Is Rory McIlroy hot or not?” debate, I submit the following. And yes, I googled “good looking golfers”. For those of you not wanting to open the links for fear of gheyness, there’s no mention of Rory in any of them.

I've got some breaking news for you. Ready? American women love British/Australian accents. Guess what women also love? Athletes. Especially rich, successful ones. Guess what women also love? Golfers.
Is Rory the only one on tour women like? Hell no lol. Women do like him, but it was a throwaway comment on my part. It's not the reason to hate Rory. You should hate Rory because he's a little b**** and always has been, and he chokes most of the time when the pressure is on. And he's Northern Irish, which is way less cool than the Republic of Ireland. And, in general, Rory is European and talks a lot of ish.
It's not really that complicated. But please by all means, give us your run-down on what makes Rory attractive or not.
That also extends to men loving women because of that. Foreign accents always get an increase of 0.5 on a 1-10 scale for me. Being able to play a normal instrument and/or sing gets them another half point.
How much “butt-ass ugly” is also overcome by the buckets of money a player makes?
Seriously, guys on the tour aren’t known to be “lookers” in the traditional sense, but most aren’t toads either. Just average guys in terms of looks alone, right? So it is entirely possible a European player my score some points for his accent and some may get points for their charm. So it would also seem that the money these guys make also factor in as well. Shallow as that may be, rich ugly guys have been getting hotties as long as there have been rich ugly guys and women walking the planet.
Speaking of the ladies (golfers, that is), seems like there was some kerfuffle over what they were wearing not too long ago. Some smoking hot golfer got her panties wadded up because of something she was wearing and the women’s tour banned it or something. Need some pics of the lady for “research” purposes. I was just asking for a friend....

Sure, it was a throwaway comment - like most comments here (maybe yours more than most). I was engaging in banter just like you were. Furthermore, I disagree with the rest of your thoughts on this. I don’t have an extra affinity for foreign women nor does my wife. Right, I know,...this is just me extropolating my experiences over the general public. It certainly wouldn’t be you extrapolating your personal experiences over the general public. Lastly, even if what you say were true IN YOUR EXPERIENCES regarding women liking foreign, rich guys, I would advise you get yourself some less superficial friends. And ones that have better taste.

Yeah, Spirinac. I think ugly girls on tour didn't like what she was wearing. She also got a Golf Digest cover and some LPGA women didn't think she was deserving. It is kind of silly because anything that would bring any sort of publicity to them they should embrace.
