will be OC. Belichick was an all time great DFC, and his won will be DC under him. The D will be a Belichick D. So the OC hire is the key. I hope he interviews Tommy Rees, who this past season was Browns TE coach and passing game analyst. But Rees was Saban's last OC and before that was OC at ND, his alma mater. So he has big time CFB OC credentials. How many OCs can claim they worked for both Saban and Belichick?

Can't argue with that.

Good chance Reese will be hired…He has been working on this staff since the JMU game…He reached out to UNC not the other way around….He has a plan and a goal moving forward…

My only thought is what's the holdup then? Rees is coaching with the Browns, who are going nowhere fast and not in the playoffs or a bowl game. Is there some contractual language holding him moneywise until two more games are played and the Browns season is over? Otherwise, I'd still say the target is someone on staff of one of the teams that have been involved in bowl games of the CFP.

Also talk of Norv Turner’s son as well…He is still coaching the Raiders as OC….I like Reese as well…I think it’s just Bill and his Od School approach about not bothering guys while they are still coaching…

I saw rumors that Rees interviewed for the head coach position before Belichick got hired. I'm not sure if he would now accept an OC position unless there is an agreement for him to named the head coach after Belichick retires.
