Tiger

He's now 5 back from the leader and at -2 . .

He has made some great strides in his game, and I am amazed that he is now somewhat competitive . .

He has made some great strides in his game, and I am amazed that he is now somewhat competitive . .

He’s left a ton of birdies out there and only made a few mistakes. Once he starts draining putts like the old tiger he will be a force to be reckoned with again

There has never been a harder fall from grace. And because of that, Tiger has gained some fans. People who used to root against Tiger now find themselves rooting for him. I’m one of them. I think part of it is because it just goes to show how quickly the media can turn against you (even one of their favorite sons in Tiger). But I think some of it’s also because Tiger is now no threat to break Jack’s record. And some old timers and Bear lovers now can feel free to root for the guy knowing he can’t supplant Jack. And lastly, Tiger’s fall humbled him. That needed to happen. He’s certainly more endearing now.

Anyway, good luck to him.

I’m following online. Gonna switch on the tv coverage right at 3

I’ve been a diehard tiger fan since I was a kid. I want to see him win another major. Or five more ;)

I've got the Braves v. Nats game on the tube now and will switch over to Golf in an hour . .

Still @ -2 thru 5.

If he can get hot and close out the front nine with 2 or 3 more birdies then buttholes will begin to clench at the top of the leaderboard.

I still don't root for him and doubt I ever will but it is good for the game to have him back. I really like the Burns kid who is paired with him.

Just downloaded the PGA tour live app on iPad and I'm watching the stream for free now. Wish I had realized this would work sooner. They make it seem like you have to pay to use it but apparently not.

Damn this chick from CBS sports is hot

That poor Adidas logo on her chest is going to be all stretched out...

I really hope Thomas finds a way to blow this. I would really like List to win but like Noren as well. Just not Thomas.

I’ll go on record saying he’ll win again. And he was player of the year in 2013, so that’s not that long ago. I’m not saying he’ll win a major, though that could happen, but I think he’ll win if he stays healthy.

He'll win again. Maybe even another major.

A lot of people forget about the things that he used to do on and around the green. And it looks like he can still hit it long. I'm just happy to get to watch him play golf again though.

I will lose my damn mind if he's ever in contention on Sunday at Augusta again.

I don't think he'll ever win a major again but think he could win a tournament at some point.

When Tiger was in his heyday, he made putts from all over everywhere and in clutch situations. Until he does that again (and I don’t think he will), he’s not winning a major.

He might catch lightening in a bottle and have a great round or 2, but I think his fall from grace forevermore scarred his ability to consistently make 10 footers

Tiger is playing better, but if he wants to really compete he has to play more rounds. I don’t know if his body OR his mind want to play a sufficient number of rounds to hone his game into truly competitive form.
