I'm watching him. This is indeed the best election year ever! Neverending laughs and wholesome family entertainment! Hootie-Hooooo

How hard are people trying to be offended by Trump that they make such a big stink over his second amendment comment? I mean c'mon people give it a break.

There's not a doubt in my mind that's exactly what he meant.

Some may say it was just clumsy phrasing on his part, but, I'm fairly certain it was more of a call to arms. Whichever one it may have been, its how those chosen words are received by others, and theres way too many nut jobs out there to even risk saying something close to what he uttered the other day.

back in the day, protestors used to be carried out on a stretcher, folks . .

I'd hit him so hard his head would spin . .

I think he meant it as a wisecrack, not a literal call to arms, but that doesn't change the fact that it was an entirely inappropriate and despicable implication for a presidential candidate to make in a campaign speech. It's not just the media spinning it, it's the most obvious meaning of what he said, and you could see people in the audience who heard it and reacted as well.

But it's just the latest in a long list of things he's said that are indefensible, yet his supporters ...

Trumper: I like him because he says what he means, not what's pc.
Trump: If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Well, second amendment people, maybe there is.
Trumper: Oh, he didn't mean that.

Better or worse than this comment by Hillary in 2008:

Hillary Clinton today cited the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy during the 1968 presidential campaign to explain why she was remaining in the race despite long odds.

"We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California," Clinton told the editorial board of a South Dakota newspaper. " I don't understand it," Clinton added, alluding to the calls for her to quit

It makes me realize how different people can even hear different things while listening to the exact SAME words being spoken. Imagine how diverse it gets from READING the same words.

When I heard it, I had the same reaction as the people sitting behind him, directly to his left. It was like "did he just say what I THOUGHT he said?"

The problem with Donald Trump is; we have no idea what HE THOUGHT he was saying. Or, for that matter, if he even remembers it. I've seen this guy make-up sh*t and think it's real, or think it's factual, and it's as if he doesn't even CARE whether it's fact or not!

I'll agree that it was probably said in jest - and was an inappropriate comment to make. I was amused by it, just as I'm amused reading what Hillary said indicating that she was staying in the race in 2008 in the event someone helped her out and bumped off Barry.

Anyone who thinks that someone out there will now go assassinate Clinton as a result of this little gaffe from Trump, is a moron.

It's like watching my 2 nieces- 8 and 13- arguing. "She hit me first. She called me a fart face!" Each one defending themselves by calling-out what the other one did.

Who exactly IS "the media?" I was listening to Sean Hannity on the radio yesterday and he was moaning about how "the media ignores Hillary Clinton's ________!" Really, Sean? YOU ARE THE MEDIA!

Even if the media is tilted, are you really doing yourself any good by calling them 'dishonest' . . ? I should think the plus vs. minus factor likely isn't going to end up in your favor by campaign's end.

Mr. Trump has singled out several in the media during a speech, including mocking a NYT reporter with a disability . .

The real problem with Trump is his narcissistic personality, which have already started witnessing. That type can go into a rage if they feel threatened and his grandiosing is another symptom, they always promise big, big things (that wall) but they usually don't pan out. This man will not be able to handle Congress, who will fight him all the way. You guys have no idea what would be coming if he won. As horrible as Hillary is, we already know what we will get. With Trump, it would be the worst nightmare you can imagine.

Disagree.

Furthermore Trump was clearly talking about the political power of the 2A supporters, not their actual proclivity to shoot people who they don't like. He also clarified and said just that.

I think he is shrewd to call them dishonest. There is no chance that he or any other Republican will get a fair shake from the MSM no matter how submissive.

No, I don't remember it, but here. Apparently this is only the tail end of a 10-minute rant.

You don't remember because KO was the only person to go off like that.

Contrast that with Trump. Fortunately they cry wolf so often with him that people are pretty much tuning them out.
