The cost of a parade would be enormous, if, tanks were included, the streets of DC would get torn to shreds . . and I'd bet (wait, thats a bad word around here, sorry Nukkee) that the Parade route goes right by the Trump Hotel . .

From what I have read he was very impressed with the military parade that was held in France(of all places) and said he'd like to honor our military the same way. I had to use the interwebz to find it because I haven't heard anything about it.
I don't see the point either, but there's many things that Washington does that I don't see the point.
Trump does a lot of shit to troll/piss off liberals because he knows it will excite his base. Just another president who refuses to be a uniter. I kind of thought he was going to tone down all the silly shit after he gave a great acceptance speech. He was very thoughtful and poised. Oh well.

I'm not sure I would consider the Bastille Day parade the same as doing something like this. That's been going on for over 100 years and celebrates the turning point of the French Revolution. I guess if he were to do it on July 4th that might make some sense, but it still seems pointless to me.
I totally agree with what you are saying here, but you know Trump, he's got to try to do it bigger and better. I don't think it will happen.

I don't necessarily disagree with what that guy says, but it's hard for me to get outraged by it. Maybe it's because I've resigned myself to the fact that Trump is going to do/say stupid stuff, so it doesn't bother me anymore.
Trump is Trump. I like the policy Trump much more than the Twitter Trump. The media hates Trump so badly that they are accomplices in the division. Obama was just as bad, Connecticut police, Travon Martin, Ferguson, Baltimore.....He just had the media blowing him at every turn. The media was Obama's Monica.
If you won't change your hairstyle in 40+ years, that's a good indicator that little else about you has changed, or is likely to have changed.
Some people live on their principles no matter how old fashioned you believe them to be. Not everyone has to evolve on a daily basis like you.
