Trump wants a Military Parade . .

Some people live on their principles no matter how old fashioned you believe them to be. Not everyone has to evolve on a daily basis like you.
I never said "they" had to. I never said that old fashioned was a bad thing. I just stated, perfunctorily, that anyone who lacks the initiative to change their appearance- the veneer- is not very likely to be changing the core beliefs.

And, principles can change and be just as effective and require just as much resolve. Being stubborn and resisting something is not always standing on principle. It's very often someone who has an ego that controls their better nature.

It’s amazing he can play all that golf and tennis with bone spurs. Those sumbitches hurt.

If you won't change your hairstyle in 40+ years, that's a good indicator that little else about you has changed, or is likely to have changed.
So, we are adding hairstyle to type of beer and how to cook your steak to the list of absurd ways to judge a person's personality? Good to know.

At least... and, a bigger penis.
I think this is more of an insult to the Queen than it is to Trump.

If I see that it is raining, and that clouds are in the forecast, and decide to not go jogging, am I judging the weather? It's just what it is.

If a person chooses to wear the exact same clothes every day, it will probably affect how the people they interact with will size-them-up... and that perception will probably be dead-on. Your choices do affect how you look at the world and how the world looks at you.

Well, that's an absurd comparison.

Who cares how someone sizes you up? Especially when it's based on dumb thinking. And if you are the type of person who uses appearance to judge someone's personality, that says more about you than it does about the person you are judging.

Do you agree that your choices have consequences?

I'm not judging by the appearance. I'm judging by the choices. The choices just happen to manifest themselves in the veneer.

What's the consequence in this example? That a short sided, closed minded person might assume something about you? Oh dear load, the horror!

I'm not judging by the appearance. I'm judging by the choices.
You've mentioned hair and clothes, that's judging on appearance.

You're missing the context here. I'm not talking about somebody that was born with blonde hair or that was born with a malocclusion.

I'll give you an example: Charles Manson and his followers carving a swastika into their forehead. That's a choice who's consequences can be pretty bad if you're on trial for murder and you'd ideally like to be set free. Now, they're not supposed to find them guilty or not guilty based on those swastikas, but it sure as hell doesn't help your situation.

In the case of Donald Trump, however, I don't think he's even conscious of it. He thinks that that look is looking good on him. It's absolutely fine to be the butt of a joke, or maybe thousands of jokes. But don't be surprised when people don't take you very seriously, or put their trust or faith in you very much because of the choice that you made to look like a moron. In his case, it works out because he also acts like one, which you would expect from somebody who wears their hair the same way for 50 years.

You're stretching again, so we will just have to agree to disagree.

Well, you made the choice to disagree that a person who makes a choice of appearing awkward or odd isn't drawing attention to themselves in a negative way. I'm not judging them so much as I'm going along with the choice that they have made.

And you stayed in a Holiday Inn last night
