And that experience is what makes me super excited about our chances in March. What other team has the Final Four MOP in Joel Berry, a regional MOP and the man who hit “The Shot” in Luuuuke Maye and a key starter/big time playmaker/do it all guy in Theo, who have all played and excelled on the biggest stage before. And also have two other starters in Kenny and Cam who have played in big ACC games and are ready to leave their mark on March. All 5 are really starting to gel together and is a big reason for our winning streak.
We have seen it the last two years that when a team plays together especially defensively and clicks at the right time offensively, they will put themselves into a great spot to pull out the close ones late in the 2nd half. This team certainly has the ability to do this as shown in the way we have closed out the last few games by never looking back and going on great runs to finish off the game.
No one wants these Heels in March!!
