UNC vs OSU Game Thread

I think Seventh just fouled out. I feel bad for him. Right now he looks worse than any walk on. Poor at almost every aspect of the game.

Yeah, Evans is a tough cover for a freshman though. He has had a rough couple of games though.

definitely getting an education early but that is the best way to learn and he appears to handle the frustration of the process well which is a great sign - not to mention the team can absorb the mistakes so far as well

This is like a big ten game where elbows and hip checks are OK as long as you don't draw blood or break a bone. Britt now in double digits as his solid play is giving Berry a long rest. UNC up by 25

Woods has a lot of work to do start at point next year.

Weird. Didn't even look like much contact there. Crazy how head shots work.

107-75 blowout is the final. Final observations Oklahoma state tried to run with Carolina and the result was they got worn out early in the second half. Evans is a stud but he is also a gun. UNC played great offensively scoring at will. Defense was not bad either but they still need to box out better when rebounding. Lots of assists. Liked how Jackson and Britt were aggressive going to the hole and how Berry just took over the game. This team looks pretty solid and when Pinson and Maye rejoin the rotation they will be even better. Must improved player early this season has been Kenny Williams whose outside shooting is going to keep teams from trying to double team Berry. Bradley is a load down low and when he packs on 20 pounds he will be a taller version of J R Reed.

AMAZING game by the Heels! Incredible 32 point win and kept their cool in the face of some stupid bad officiating...... Go Heels! Go Heels! Go Heels!

This bodes well. Our first game against a P5 school and we win by 32. Of course Wisconsin will provide a much tougher test, but good vibes all around tonight.

I just don't understand why teams like that try to run with us but I'll take it all day long. Blowout city

I dont think teams know how truly fast the speed we play at is until theyre actually on the court with us. Its not something you can see on film and I think when its a new team they realize its much faster than they expected and they probably arent as deep or conditioned as they thought they were. Bilas talked about it a little bit saying we're an easy team to scout because everyone knows what we're going to do, but being able to stop it is a whole different story

I think what I bolded above is the key in most cases. I believe few teams are as conditioned as UNC, and that really shows up after the first 15 minutes, or sometime in the 2nd half at the latest.
