I agree. That’s a loser mentality. Since when should Carolina be “proud of the fight” against VT. Instead, Carolina should have came out ready to play and not dogged it with sloppy lazy play.

I'm glad they at least came back and made it a game. Down by 18 with 7-8 minutes?

The freshmen got a lot of playing time ad showed some promise. No Bacot, no Dunn. Not as bad as I was expecting.

Unfortunately, my Sling subscription auto-renewed today. So I'm stuck with it for another month. Don't make me have to watch Duke to get my money's worth.

The announcers (and apparently Hubert, as well) are blaming lack of time to practice during the recent stretch.

OK, then. We have just under 2 weeks and 2 more creampuffs to fix this before we face good competition again.

If we still look bad against Ohio State and Michigan, Hubert's seat will start getting pretty toasty.

I definitely think "they" jumped the gun by extending his contract after just one season that was really just one month of consistent play, when they got hot at the right time. Now, granted, that included shaming coach K and the dookies TWICE. And, a FF/NCAAT game run. But... they look average-below average now. Hubs will always have the dookie/K humiliation. And, for that, he and teh staff deserve plenty of praise. But... his long-term abilities are not anywhere close to being known.

There's no consistency at all.

Just tuned in and I want to say I cannot stand to hear Randolph Childress do one of our games. I like it but as much as I used to enjoy listening to Billy Packer.

I remember a wake-Carolina game way back that Packer was calling (maybe childress was playing too). Wake had the Heels number that day; up by a bunch. Vince (or maybe Stack) had a breakaway 360, and Packer got upset at it on air. Thought it was classless. He couldn't hide his disdain even though his club was up by a bunch. Lol

This is what I meant by the “proud of this fight” comment. Could have thrown their hands up down 18. We climbed off they matt late last year for a great ride. Got to play the entire game with urgency.
