Reading some of their stuff is hysterical.
They say shit like "unc nation is powerful" in reference to us pulling strings to get Cam eligible. Does this moron realize Duke has every single media outlet on their knees whenever K is brought up? ESPN, the largest one of them all, reserves 50% of their coverage to Duke and UK.
Another moron brought up us "buying a championship". How exactly did we do that? Does this idiot think, even though we're missing on every top 10 recruit, that we're somehow paying players?

It was actually several years ago. There was a disussion on their board and there was some heated back and forth discussion going between Skysdad and some other Duke posters. Then one of the Duke posters told Skysdad something along the lines of: "Well, you can really use a salad". We ran with that on our board for a week. Heck, many of us can use a salad or two, but that discussion on their board was funny as hell at that time. It was a self-inflicted wound. This coupled with the time he came over to defend his son and made a fool of himself. He has been known as the Salad Man since that time. As I said above, it could be a mental issue now. Not funny.

Second, you can be with Coach Cutcliffe. That's fine. Do you think coaches should be able to break contracts? Besides, isn't an athletic scholarship on a year-to-year basis? It just doesn't make sense to me holding these kids hostage while coaches and administrators come and go. Cam Johnson signed up three years ago to play for Jamie Dixon at Pittsburgh. Dixon bailed and took another job. Johnson stayed, graduated with honors and represented Pitt in the highest regard. There's no doubt in my mind that if this didn't involve UNC you wouldn't care one way or the other.
Lastly, people have talked about this being a stupid rule forever. You just didn't care until UNC was involved. Besides, I'm not sure what the 40% leaving is supposed to do for your argument. I did a quick google search and found that less than 55% of students who start graduate school finish. That's not far off from the 40% number you're referencing. So it's not just athletes. Also, only 36% of people who start college obtain a bachelor's degree in less than six years. Think about that....almost two in three don't even finish college.

Forget Pitt, forget NCAA, and forget he is coming to UNC. The reason he should/will be allowed to play this up coming season is exactly as stated, "he earned that right".
