What classic movie have you never seen?

Got this idea because we're busting CB34's balls on FC because he's never seen Animal House and a joke from the movie went straight over his head.

Everyone seems to have 1 or 2 that they just never got around to watching...one of mine:

Did you ever watch the documentary about making Caddyshack? It was crazier than the actual movie. One of my favorites of all time. We'll never see another movie like that nowadays, not with the way Hollywood polices things.

Did you ever watch the documentary about making Caddyshack? It was crazier than the actual movie. One of my favorites of all time. We'll never see another movie like that nowadays, not with the way Hollywood polices things.

Based on the years most of those movies came out, I'm estimating the average age of the voters is around 85.

Never saw "Black Hawk Down".

I saw Gone With The Wind for the first time about 40 years after it was released. It never gets old.

I don't think when they were originally released is a really a factor in their "all time greatness."

In your defense, the first 10 min of Saving Private Ryan are easily the best. Rest of the movie is eh.

I agree, but it appears that those voters don't. It probably has more to do with a bunch of old guys not liking new stuff because it's different. The "rock music is the devil" attitude. I think it's easier for people to embrace older stuff than it is to embrace newer stuff.

I've seen 57 of those.

Also, SPR is awesome. But I've always wondered how combat veterans feel about war films. Saw Black Hawk Down too. It was decent but it's no Saving Private Ryan.

I've seen 23 of them. I guess I'm just not that much of a movie buff.

Yeah, evidently the movie didn't even come close to what he thought it should have been. It's unfortunate that he didn't live to see the success that it's become.

I'm on board with you for these. Although I've seen Star Wars 4, maybe half of 5, and 1. None of the rest of the Star Wars movies, or any of the other ones you listed. Hadn't even heard of Raging Bull to be honest.

Not only have i seen all the classics. I’d wager i’ve seen alll of them at least twice. Caddyshack, animal house, raising arizona, hangover, godfathers, lotr, star wars, all prob half a dz times.love getting lost in a good movie. Just saw Solo last night. Enjoyed it.
