The ‘84 loss to Indiana. Easily the best team in the nation. I hated bob knight. I felt he was everything wrong in sports at the time. Anyone knows me knows I ridicule officiating conspiracy theories but in that game that one ref had a hard on for Jordan and effectively neutralized him. Iirc he was called for his 3rd foul early on when he was cut under on an alley oop attempt. Right then I knew we were screwed. Having said that it was obvious Indiana was playing def like their hair was on fire and we didn’t match their intensity. (Of course they lay an egg next game). To make things worse that pos Dan what’s his name that guarded Jordan is a radio/tv guy and regularly takes credit for shutting Him down that game.
