I'm still waiting for someone to point out an example of a victim being molested -- or even having their rights somehow violated -- by a transgender in the "wrong" bathroom.

For the record, I'm completely on board with @gunslingerdick's campaign against bending over backwards to accommodate every segment of the population. This whole issue should be exhibit A against adopting that mindset as public policy.

Perversions would exist even without the shaming/guilting/fearing of sexual situations - maybe less perversions, but they wouldn't be gone altogether. There would be older guys that like to touch little boys and/or little girls regardless of if everyone walked around naked and pornography was shown in every classroom in the US.

I believe that if public businesses, schools, etc were forced to allow "men" (regardless of their sexual bend) to enter girls restrooms and locker rooms (as the Charlotte City Council was attempting to do, don't forget) it would put women (young and old) in a vulnerable and dangerous position. Obviously I know there are lots of folks who do not think it would cause anything like that and I respect that - we just disagree.

Yes "perverts will always be perverts" -- but do you seriously believe that if ANY guy can walk into a girls locker room using the reason he "feels like a woman" and there are no rules to stop that, that only well-minded transgender men will do it ? And don't be so stupid as to think or say "well the pervs can do all of that now" ... sure, they can walk into a girls locker room ... and they'll soon be arrested and charged. If the Charlotte City Council idea was the norm, NOTHING could stop these same men from walking into the stall where my daughter is peeing or locker room where she is showering --- I don't care who feels discriminated against, that should never be normal (IMO).

And to the FEAR question. YES YES YES as the father of two young girls I am afraid of letting men enter this private part of their lives, I am afraid of them seeing the male anatomy at an age that is far too young .. I am not ashamed of being afraid of certain things on earth. Those of you who are not afraid of this outcome, would you let your young daughters go to Islamabad or even downtown Durham by themselves? I'm all-in on the admission of fear being the root cause of a behavior, attitude, etc..

Pornography is a result of the fears, shames, repression, and guilt that humans have made-up. Look at the fear of simply referring to our bodies. "Those are PRIVATE PARTS!" My whole body is my private parts. Someone walks up and starts picking my nose and I'm reacting the same as if they grab my ass. As a kid, you hear "wee wee" and "hoo hah" and boobies. All of that is indicative of an evasion (fear) of the reality in favor of a shameful, masked reference.

And, no, I do not believe there would be old men molesting boys because molestation would not likely exist in a society that places no shame on natural inclinations. Without hot, there is no cold.
