This^^^. Spot on, as I pointed out above.Berry is a lot of the times being sold out by bad shows by our bigs on screens which is leading to the big essentially screening Berry out of the play.
JB's on-ball defense has been the best in the team and it's not really close. Literally the only issues last game in his individual D was closing out on KSU's guy on a couple of 3s early in the second half. Roy pulled him for a short time to send a message and that got fixed. Against NIU, until he was hampered by foul trouble he more than held his own against their bigger aggressive PG. The problems came when our Bigs didn't do their jobs on high screens.
I can tell you from experience the toughest thing for a PG to play D on is a screen coming from a Big behind you. The onus there is on your Big teammate to communicate and/or make clean shows. That hasn't always happened.
And then I read someone saying Britt did better?... when he is out there they don't even have to use screens.
Honestly, when I read some of those posts it just makes my head hurt.
