I went back and read all 27 of his posts on Radar, the guy hasn't posted anything that could even be considered remotely offensive.
No offense buddy, but we get it. You really, really, really believe Carter is dook bound, to the tune of being 95% sure. And you believe his signing is imminent, probably this summer.
But when you say "You guys have the option to listen/not listen but some know my track record and may be interested. If you guys would rather me not post, I won't. But for those who enjoy recruiting they may want another source of information than just your tidbits that are normally incorrect.", you come across as arrogant. Should your "record" have preceded you, perhaps we would know that you are a recruiting guru.
So before you disparage our "tidbits as being normally incorrect", maybe you'd care to share your source(s) of information.
I can't decide if I want to SMH or laugh hysterically at some of these posts.

Unbelievable. Make no mistake, I am a Carolina fan and will be until I die. Do any of you here think I like seeing Duke win and get all these recruits? I hate it. But some of you are just plain delusional. There is a difference between being a fan and a fanatic, and I don't cross that line.

Clint can vouch for my sources as we speak regularly. But it won't matter, it's obvious I won't be welcome on a rival board. I also don't claim to be a recruiting guru, just a guy fortunate enough to know some people. As I stated earlier, I will refrain from posting any recruiting info here and just try and stick to the Duke premium board. You guys can continue to rely on Gary's tidbits for info here. God Bless.
I sure hope so. A lot people feel that UK is the favorite, but at the very least we're in the running for him.
Don't know about next but if so that would be fine with me. Lotta versatility and toughness in that big body.

We need one OAD big to go along with Tony and 2 more top-50ish bigs to back them up and step into starting roles as sophs.
That's 3 quality bigs. We have only 4 offers out to bigs, and only 1 shows "warm" toward us on 247.
We also need a quality SF - because Justin will be gone and Theo might go, too. We have 1 offer to a SF. And while he is "warm" toward us, we are running 3rd behind Duke and FSU in the early predictions.
We should add a true PG. We have 1 offer out. He's "cool" on us, but that could change after he visits.
We have less of a need for SGs than anything else, but have 2 offers out. One of them may be big enough to handle SF, so that's probably a good play.
Unless we get some early commits, we're going to need a lot more offers out.
Would be a huge commit if it happened. Getting him on campus is a great start
....and may God Bless ANY DUKE SLANT that is posted on a Dook board. I do not come here to read about the greatness of Dook. Then again that is just me...
Is it actually true? Im surprised there is nothing out there. Usually the recruting guys like evan daniels wouls tweet a reported visit.

As far as recruiting stuff I just share what I'm fortunate enough to hear or see. If it's scuttlebutt or rumor I present it as such. If it's from a conversation, likewise. Fact is, rumors and such don't always come true and conversations are sometimes just conversations, but that doesn't mean they didn't happen. Hell, at least 5 AAU coaches heard that tirade from Boo Williams about DSJr I reported. For the record I never bought that we were gonna get him, but what that tirade DID indicate as it turned out was that Roy indeed made a strong late push for Smith that had him thinking hard. In the end though (as most of us thought) there was just too much other "stuff" involved to sway him from where he was being steered.
As for predicting, I don't do that unless I get damned good info. When I called JB and JJ to UNC I had heard it from my most trusted AAU source... same with all three we got this year. Last year I got wind here locally that Abdul-Rahim had steered Jalen Brown to Cal and I had that before the recruiting "gurus". Does that make me a guru? --- of course not --- I just know some people tied into the ATL HS scene. And sometimes even great info can bite you and ya miss..
So yeah, when some interloper who happens to be a dookie just happens to show up on here at this time of year claiming he just wants to talk recruiting, yet specifically references my "tidbits" as incorrect, that is not only a factually false statement, it's also disingenuous. A troll is a troll, no matter how innocently he tries to present it. Maybe he has good recruiting sources --- if so, good for him --- but he shouldn't have the need to get into a dick-measuring contest on a rival's board. If he's so confident on WC he should just go celebrate with his fellow dookies on their board. It's not like I'm predicting we get WC --- after all, dook's gone all in and Roy has a ton of ground to make up. The fact that a coach in Wendell's HS program thinks UNC's still in it shouldn't bother him one bit, right?

Whats the talk on where we are with him? Legit contenders? It would be nice to beat out Kentucky for him, especially since some think we cant hang with the likes of Kentucky, Duke and Kansas anymore.
From my understanding, he really likes UNC. UK and Texas are strong in this recruitment as well.

Best I can tell, we have a dukie in coach 325 that posts mainly on the duke premium site that comes here and offers his "information" but we are not supposed to question it just because he talks to Clint every now & then? I want to make sure I understand, we are not suppose to offer any opinion that does not agree with him lock step because even thou he is a dukie he is above having any kind of a duke bias?
And guys like gary and myself, that do not believe that carter to duke is a done deal as of yet, that offer that we still have a chance and yet have never said we lead or have led for him, well that doesn't jive with the dukie view and therefore is wrong and should not even be considered?

First, totally agree we need 3 solid front court commits from this class and there are several out there that I really like.
I don't think we really need a small forward, I really don't see Theo leaving early and I think BRob could step right in to that wing spot behind Theo. If Theo did leave after next season it would be because he had a GREAT Jr season and that could mean we at least made the final 4. Even if that happened I th8ink we could go small with 7th or Jalek to back up Brob. We also have a kid in Rush that will walk on for us but that is not your typical out of state walk on kid, he has a lot of talent and should slot in as a wing.
PG, yeah maybe but IMO we can hold out for a top shelf PG, don't think we need to take a settle for guy unless he happens to be a great shooting threat, like the Platek kid. Clearly we have big time 2 guard depth but some of that may morph in to PGs as well and I think will.
For me it is total focus on front court guys, would not hurt my feelings to bring in 4 but I think we have to have no less than 3.
2 high impact and 2 3-4 year type should do the trick!!..similar to when we brought in Deon,Alex and Wright!!
Of course I have a biased opinion, I will be the first to admit that. But I am also very much the realist. Many "recruiting experts" or even Duke fans think that we lead for Carter, Bamba, Gak, and Knox. While it could happen I suppose, I tend to think the likelihood of landing all those guys is slim to none. I think 3 is very likely, but not all 4.
I don't share recruiting information if it's just my own biased opinion. I only share what comes from one trusted source who has connections to the Duke staff. Now, the problem with that is that sometimes the Duke staff may feel good about a particular recruit because that kid may be telling them what they want to hear. Over the years, I have learned to interpret his info as either fact/his opinion and in the case of Carter he speaks very factual about him ending up at Duke, as well as one of the other names listed above. The other 2 names he gives his opinion on for now. Has he been wrong before? Sure.....but not often.

You are biased but not biased when it comes to recruiting, ok then...You do not offer your own biased opinions on recruiting but prefer to offer opinions from those with duke ties, well of course those folks with duke ties are not biased, who woulda ever thought such a thing.... Logically to me that adds up to you not offering your own biased opinions on recruiting but offering others biased opinions on recruiting? Did not say that at all. He said 2 of them will commit to Duke, the other 2 are still up in the air......as stated above.
If puke gets 3 of them then at least 1 will transfer. If they get 4, then 2 will transfer. This is due to my biased assessment of ratty's penchant for picking favorites and leaving his non-acolytes to languish on the bench! I also speak regularly to two former prominent pukies through family members (one is a very attractive woman, hint, hint) that somehow befriended them. One became a favorite and one spent quality time learning ACC bench textures even though he was arguably the best player on the team. I believe puke will get 2 of them and I have hope that Roy will pull 1-2 himself!
BTW: didn't you promise to take your ball and leave? I don't mind your contributions and I enjoy the discourse, but a man shouldn't make empty threats. Your info (Clint is NOT 100%) is on the same level as ALL other message board claims to me! I love G-7's recruiting info, and I couldn't care less if it is accurate or not. Nobody can predict the minds of teenagers with any accuracy. Most of the time, they have no idea what they really want!

Yes he is. If I went to his dook board (never gonna happen, BTW) and stated that his info posted there was often incorrect, that would be trolling, no matter how benignly I stated it... and would be downright rude, no matter how politely I phrased it.
He obviously is aware of what I post over here (don't know why --- I neither know nor give a flying f*** what he posts over there), and he didn't just disagree with my assessment (which would be fair enough), he said I was posting info that was not true. That is calling me a liar and dissing me on my team's board, and that is trolling.
Had he come here in actual peace (how often does that actually happen?) and identified himself as a dookie who has sources on their recruiting, and said something like "the dook coaches feel really good about such-and-such committing", that would have been fine and could have prompted an interesting discussion, but he didn't do any of that until Dave called him out. What he did was just join in our recruiting threads like some omniscient overseer and that in and of itself is disingenuous.
Thank God the Troll Police were on duty and saved the day for us Tar Heels.
