I saw this on FB. Which two would you take from this list to add to this years team? They didn’t list Jordan because everyone might take him. Plus you pick them based on their college talent not the peak of their career.
Hansbrough, Felton, Worthy, Zeller, Carter, May, K Smith, Barnes, Wallace, Perkins, Jamison, May, Green, J Jackson, Fox, Stackhouse, Lawson

This was a tough one. We need Frontcourt more than Backcourt so I say Hansbrough and May’s senior year preferably his Tournament play. Instead of May I almost would want Wallace or Worthy

This team literally needs one player to be in a class by itself --- a strong 5-man. With Luke's Stretch ability at the 4 we would be killing people these days (dammit, Tony Bradley).

So, gimme Sheed, or Big Z, or Sam... take your pick.
Or hell, if you wanna go somewhat smaller, gimme Psycho or Sean. Any one of them would do fine!

Again, right now I'd just take Tony B still being here and watch our dust.

Absolutely No Hesitation!

AND1 . .

Not only for his abilities but also as a southeast Missouri guy I'll take Hansbrough. I was 10 when Sheed and Stackouse were around and although that was the first college bball team I ever watched and what got me liking UNC I don't have a good enough memory of their collegiate game to pick Sheed in the post over Psycho. May and Big Z we're absolutely great and would make this team so much better also.

This is a fun question to discuss, because there are really no bad choices. This program has had many great players, and any of them would be a fantastic addition to the 2017-2018 Tar Heel team. But if I have to pick one, I'm going with the 2005 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player Sean May. If he were on this team playing like he did in the 05 Final Four, the Heels are cutting down the nets for the second year in a row. No doubt.

Lawson and Jamison

Starting lineup of Lawson , Berry , Pinson , Maye , Jamison

I don't think Worthy was one of the options on that.

That said, Jamison and Lawson or Jamison and Carter or Jamison and Hansbrough.

Jamison is the key for the inside. He holds the ball very shortly. You have to try to double him. He is a monster scorer.

Lawson shot about 50% from 3 his last year. He is simply too fast for opponents and gets us way more in transition.

Berry would move to the 2 with Williams backing him, and play spot duty at the 1.

Are only weakness is depth inside with this. However, we could go small and decimate teams with this lineup.

Jamison and Zeller

Gives the Heels a strong frontcourt that they lack.

He isn’t on the list, but I’d be content with just having John Henson. 6’11” good rebounder and shot blocker. Put him on this team and I’d take them against the field.

Hansbrough and Jamison, from my viewing era. I'm sure I'd want Worthy too, but I never really saw him play.

Worthy and Sheed, but Jamison and Perkins, but Hans and May, but Billy Cunningham and Bob McAdoo, but Big Brad and Haywood......Dadgummit! How can you pick?????

Give me any of our past star bigs (including TB) and we are runaway favorites!

Dang, It's Good to be a Tar Heel!
