My Little from Big Brothers/Big Sisters is 8 years old and didn't know what Memorial Day was. All he knew is he got a day off from school. I got to explain to him what today means and why we honor the men and women who have given their lives for our freedoms.

Then he asked why wars start and that was a WHOLE other conversation. Whew!
