Extremely quick stuff (Wake game)...

...and this is one I can't blame the coaching staff for.

This really is gonna be extremely quick:

- You want a game summary? Ok: We defended them into shitty looks all night, but they hit just enough of them.

- Meanwhile, we got consistently great looks all night, but DIDN'T hit enough.

- All of the above enabled a predictably horrible officiating job to let them win it from the line.

So... there ya go. Eliot tried his best with 14/13/7, but that second number could've easily been 20 by our guys converting just a decent pct of the other good ops he created. We always struggle in Winston, but this year it unfortunately means so much more, so coming close is no consolation... and that f^^^ing sucks. Sorry --- dunno what else to say. Good night all... :(

Theo Pinson already confirmed lack of NIL is why our bigs are so bad. There is no "if" here. We didn't have the NIL to get Carolina caliber bigs and it wrecked our season.

You're constant need to insult and scream is worrisome. Especially after you just upvoted my Wear Twins post halfway up the page. You could easily put me on ignore and never see a thing I posted again.

Clearly the ACC is too hard for us. We should probably switch to the Missouri Valley Conference. Tyson would immediately revert to shooting 47%. Unless maybe it's coaching. But even our coaches might benefit from easier opponents.

I was ripped for saying the same thing going into last season and coming off the disastrous missed NCAAT season. But I still believe that. For something as critical as the head coaching position, you want the answer to be crystal clear. Not up for opinion or interpretation.

It was crystal clear with Doherty and even though it was painful and embarrassing, it was better than hanging around.

Im not sure how much more clear it can be!

There was time with Roy and Dean that I didn't like the holding TO's and stuff like that but I never felt like they wasn't getting the best out of what they had.

I understand that alot of his problems are roster related, but you can't over look that he is responsible for the roster.

Another problem I have is I can never point to one time when Roy or Dean was coaching that we didn't improve inhave seen zero improvement from this team, nothing changes ever.

If we was seeing improvement then I would say okay but we are not seeing it.

The more I read about him the more there is to like. He's Young in coaching years, Currently has a Top 5 team with a fraction of the talent we have, proven track record, And just on the verge of taking that next step as a coach. He's like Nate Oats before the final four. If we wait one more year I don't think we'll have any chance to get him

And that's already a long shot. he said Iowa St. is his dream job. In a press conference after beating us, go figure. And his contract's locked in until 2032
