BREAKING: Derek Dixon Commits to UNC

Denis
Dixon
Trimble
Powell
Tyson

(Assumes Cadeau is 2AD and Jackson is OAD.)
If Powell's draft stock remains anywhere close to what it currently is, he'll have to turn pro. Hubert would never advise a lottery pick to stay. My guess is we'll add Dixon, Denis, and a point guard from the portal after we're certain Cadeau is leaving.

OOTB's Political Thread . ..

and? He's wrong. Many people are, both dems and anti-Trump republicans.

Why don't you be honest and acknowledge that 1) this bill wasn't necessary in order to help secure the border and that 2) the bill in question was NOT very suitable for that purpose.

watch this FULL video

THEN, I'll point out the obvious to you, which is to say that it is lunacy to contend that republicans are unwilling to vote to secure the border. If republicans weren't demanding it, the failed bill would never have been written. As it is at this point, any republican-generated legislature that adequately addresses the issue wouldn't likely get the support of even a single dem. Any dem-generated legislature would be written to further the dem agenda.

No one is saying that there have not been political considerations involved, but the basic problem with the bill in question was the bill itself.

And meanwhile, it would have been nice if the video you supplied wasn't truncated (not by you). Hmmm.

Dude. Lol.

I've gotten to where I really appreciate Megyn Kelly. This agrees with my earlier post.

This is literally what trump says to every question. Of course he also couples his answer with an imaginary quote from imaginary people to clown his uneducated marks.

Jerry Stackhouse joining Golden State Warriors coaching staff

After an 18-year NBA playing career and coaching at several levels, Jerry Stackhouse is joining the Golden State Warriors coaching staff. Stackhouse was the third pick in the 1995 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He made two All-Star teams and averaged 16.9 points per game over 18 seasons. Stackhouse got into coaching with his son's AAU team. (Golden State Warriors)

Horrible news --- Joe Wolf has passed...

Hearing about Joe Wolf's passing hits hard. As a Tar Heel, Joe was a versatile and relentless forward who gave everything on the court, embodying the spirit of Carolina basketball. He was a key part of those Dean Smith teams that taught us what it meant to play with heart and hustle. Every time we lose a player from that era, I can’t help but feel like a part of my youth fades with it. I miss Dean even more in moments like this.

Rest in peace, Joe Wolf—you’ll always be a part of the Carolina family.

2025 recruiting....

Dave, I did mention OAD players being leaders of national championship teams earlier in this thread, but I did see where yourself and another poster had your own conversation going that did not mention.

However this obsession with we got to have OAD players has gone on years before Roy retired, in fact it really started to become a subject during the Marcus Paige era. Of course we still managed to get some, but not in bunches. In fact Colby White was a 5 star, but definitely wasn't suppose to be OAD. Nassir Little was suppose to be OAD and was, but he was not "great" his year with us. Cole Anthony was suppose to be OAD, and I make the excuse he had a suspect team, he was not great with us.

I am trying to point out that our last two sure fire OAD players really didn't do anything for us. Some assumed EC was OAD, I saw him as a two year guy after he reclassified.
