Lucas: Everwhere

Adam Lucas is one of the best sportswriters in America. His latest article is yet another difficult but heartfelt look into Eric Montross’s Annual Father’s Day Camp. This is another can’t miss read from Adam Lucas. Football money and power can raise enough excess wealth to upgrade all other sports. Top basketball money and power are almost impotent in terms of helping anything, even the conference where it seems to have its greater expression. The power of top level basketball in college athletics is barely more than that of top level college baseball.

Any school that could have been a bigger football power and failed to do that while basking in silly basketball glory is a damned fool.
