Camp weeks...

Lest we forget, this is the first week of the summer basketball camps, which means the accompanying organized pickup games.
Waiting for more info, but the currents vs alums game is happening NEXT week apparently, but they've already had a game with a couple of alums (Danny Green played) mixed in.

Anyway, some quick stuff from a text, and it sounds consistent with what some of us have already been hearing:
High and Withers showed out... EC lit it up from outside... Tyson was as advertised, and the frosh (Jackson & Powell) showed they belong.

Hopefully more later and hopefully some bootlegged vid will show up, as it usually does ;)...

UNC about to leave the ACC?

This is becoming a major story but I don't see any discussion of it, WHY?

Itg now appears that there are multiple members of the board of govs, including the current president as well as a former president of the BOG that are ready for UNC to leave the ACC. Standing opposed to this is Bubba? Appears as if UNC is no longer concerned with having to take NC State where ever they go. It appears that the ACC has offered UNC a sweeter revenuue share to stay, even promising them most of the money Clemson and FSU would have to pay to get out, as well as the money the new comers from the west would have ot sacrifice early on as new members. I keep hearing that duke is looking to strike a basketbal only deal with the Big 8 but news yesterday is that kansas may be looking to go to the SEC so that really hurts that league.

On this board we have discussed UNC's NIL with the fgeeling of some that UNC lags the SEC and BIG in what they are offering in NIL and AJ has told us that we are fine in basketball but football NIL is well behind but if UNC is giving up SEC or BIG revenue payouts how long wil either sport be able to compete? NIL may be fione for now in basketball but the players are not going to be asking for LESS money, they are going to ask for more and more as each years passes. This is all going down now, Bubba is supposed to be meeting with the BOG thursday, love to be4 a fly on the wall for that one, we could well need a new AD come friday morning.
