Pete Nance Named To Karl Malone Award Watch List

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced Thursday the 20 watch-list members for the 2023 Karl Malone Award. Named after Class of 2010 Hall of Famer and two-time NBA MVP Karl Malone, the annual honor recognizes the top power forwards in Division I men's college basketball. The NCAA’s Board of Directors approved new guidance to members on name, image, and likeness activities, clarifying how schools, coaches, and staffers can be involved with athletes’ endorsement and sponsorship deals. The clarifications are intended to give athletic departments a better idea of what types of support fall outside of existing bylaws. (Associated Press)

Andrew Platek suiting up for a 6th season of college hoops

The angle/over-run here :(

I know we're not supposed to be negative about anything on a 6-1 UNC team, but some of the star recruits on this D are struggling to be good.

I hate to pick on a specific guy, but how does this angle happen? He's had several headscratchers this yr. It took Cayson Collins all 4 yrs to be productive, so it isn't too late, but this dude needs to step up if he wants to be more than a 3rd-down specialist forever. Poor Ced Gray is having to play 100% of the snaps. He's gonna be exhausted by Nov.
