Wonder if any of those highly touted Mallard Creek OL are interested in joining their teammate in Chapel Hill?
My buddy coaches high school basketball at Midlothian HS.. A football stud just transferred to the school from California named Jermani Brown. He is only a junior. He is playing on the basketball team. He has verbally committed to play football at Arizona State. Now that the kid is on the east coast, we need to tell Coach Warren to come up and check this kid out. He is a 4* cornerback w a nice offer list. I don't see him staying at Midlothian HS next year for his senior year. Great school academically, but football team has struggled pretty bad for many years. I could see him transferring somewhere else. Who knows. JMO. How do we let Coach Warren know about this football prospect?

Good question. Sure someone around here knows but might be abel to just email him if he's listed or the football program office so someone can direct the email to the guy. But bet there's someone on this board that knows/interviews him and can do it easier.
We seem to have as good a shot as any. Nobody seems to be leading although we don't seem to do so well at WFHS. I am trying to temper my enthusiasm but when guys start talking and see something brewing it could be unstoppable. A recruiting guru said this class won't be as big but will be quality over quantity. We have even been elevated to warm with Justin Foster.
Eric Douglas is on our radar but we don't appear to have offered. He has impressive offers.
U might see him more on the hardwood then football field but I'm sure there would be a spot for him at WR as well
Yeah. I see he scored 35 points the other night. 1 scholarship 2 sports efficient.
Both would count towards football scholarship number. Just FYI. The Bear Bryant rule.

I'll be very surprised if he doesn't get an offer real soon. As stated, a position of great need with early PT a distinct possibility. Very excited about the start we've gotten on this class.
Bold prediction: We make it into someone's final three-four teams that the 'Old Carolina' would have no chance landing a visit from, much less a commit, due to talent-level and geography. Not saying we get said player, but we'll be in his final teams, sorta like Nate Craig-Myers.

Being a UNC football fan means my "perfect recruiting class" contains 10 defensive lineman.
Worth mentioning that he visited Duke after UNC and attended the Duke - Louisville basketball game. I wish we could've gotten him in the Dean Dome for a big-time game or something. Hopefully he won't be a stranger and will OV.
I agree , but we have in state momentum that you have to go back to the Mack era to match. He could probably start day one.
Foster just got an offer from Alabama. It is my hope that he would choose to make something great in his home State, but the offers just keep coming. He's truly special, and yes I am a homer, but gosh this kid is a freak.
We want him to get offers from all the big boys. If the Alabama's of college football didn't offer, then I'd be concerned.
That being said, I'd be shocked if we landed JF. Absolutely shocked (but happy)

Thus far, our Coaches are doing a tremendous job of recruiting the top players in this state, and hope this momentum that we have continues to grow into the future.....Would also like to have the Foster kid from Crest, but I personally think it's a long shot with his sister already enrolled at Clemson....Not to mention, Clemson is on fire right now, and are picking-up just about every recruit that they want....
Also agree with the notion that we are at least getting a foot in the door of some of these talented youngsters more so now than we have the last few years, and could really boost that effort even more if we can beat either Georgia or FSU this coming fall, and win the Coastal Division once again....
No. It's been pushed back and the reasons for this range from innocent to nefarious (depending on who you believe).
