RJ Davis, previously with no CB predictions, just picked up 2 predictions . . . for Pitt.

He also moved up the rankings from 85 to 69 - and I expect he'll go higher.

With the exception of Caleb Love (zero predictions) we don't look in good shape for any of our other PGs or CGs.

I hope we step up the recruiting of Davis and Love. Or, if it's time to cut our losses, perhaps put out another offer or 2.

I won’t be terrified to go with Francis, Ant and Leaky next year if that’s what it ends up being. Unless you see more offers extended all of a sudden to a handful of PGs in 2020, I suspect Roy feels ok about it too. He went “small net” on PGs for 2020.

Not a big fan of the "fall back on education" argument. 1st round picks make more off that initial check then most college graduates in a lifetime. Hopefully their not stupid with it though. Get the money however you can.

Yeah, I will agree the time in college while they play for the 1&D types is a waste of time from the aspect of a college education. But most, including UNC, allow a kid that leaves early to come back and either finish his begun degree or start all over toward a new degree at no cost. So you may not need the class work now but you are more than likely to need it when you end your play for pay days.

I honestly feel confident about our chances with Love and think that there is a chance he commits before RJ gets on campus a few weeks later. If had to make a prediction today I would say that our commits at the 1 and 2 will be Love and Springer.

I really, really like Thompson, but I am starting to feel we have a better chance with Springer than Thompson. I think Thompson may end up staying closer to home. And you know what the more I have been thinking about it and thinking about seeing how well Springer playing at the Geico Nationals, I really believe that Springer would be a great fit to play alongside Love. In addition to their abilities to play off each other offensively, these two together would be very exciting to watch on the defensive end as well as both bring a toughness and willingness to bring it on D.

These next few months are going to be very, very interesting in seeing who pops first and how it affects the other offers at their positions and also if Roy’s pitches to them change at all based on who commits before them.

Seems Bossi is giving Williams to Stanford a nod, Kessler to Auburn/dook, Thompson gets a nod to KU, says Love is UNC bound.
Honestly? A great deal may change between now and early signing in November.

Then in another article Bossi, Evans and McDonald are all over the page and don't seem to really know who might go anywhere...experts, sure thing.

Eric Bossi and Corey Evans believe if any team can lure Cade away from Oklahoma St, it's UNC. Interesting note, Cade and Brown play travel together and will be attending LNWR.

At first, I was tempering expectations about the guest list because it’s so early this year that it won’t force recruits to pick between LNWR and the other “Midnight” Madnesses.

However, I’m coming around to the opinion that it’ll be great to have the spotlight on Carolina with all these budding stars there. Cade will see Cole showing out. Springer and Williams can see how we let our guards get after it. Brown will witness how perfectly he fits Roy’s run n gun system. The Magnanimous Mr. Mando will no doubt have something to say to the 2020 kids. Generally, it’ll be a fun time and they’ll all be in the same crowd, perhaps thinking about what could be in the coming years.

I don’t believe that was the intention with the super early date, but it’s a nice side effect.

If we were lucky enough, we have particular "needs" at spots and each of these players all have a spot for them in Chapel Hill. Come on down and become Tar Heels!

ok so I can confirm Zaire William's is supposed to be at late night also hearing that we lead for him, and the margin is getting wider, and we are in way better with Cade Cunningham than we are getting credit for... from all I have heard Isaiah Tod is visiting a lot but still little to no chance he comes here, hate to he the bearer of bad news on him. that is all I have heard for now. if i get anything else i will post it

I could give an ish about Todd if it means good news about Williams, and especially Cunningham.

Todd’s ranking has consistently slid since he was ranked #1 initially. Wish the kid well, but if he wanted to be a Heel, it would’ve happened already.

its kool you dont have to believe me... the post you are referring to is tuesday wherein I said I heard we were leading for Zaire with the margin growing and that todd was still slim and none (he is probably going pro no inside info even ky fans believe this) but you have to understand I run a bread route and my own business as well so I post when I get a second which isnt often. so if I get sidetracked forgive a brotha a lot on my plate with that including 4 kids, 2 dogs, and a wife

I salute you as a teacher; I could never do that. Having my 4th child made that abundantly clear; you are a God send, and I find it amazing that you are willing to teach our youth today.
