Lets see, kid visits us with kessler, Kessler commits to us about 10mins after he got home from the visit.
CC (Cade Cunningham) visits who some consider the best player in that 2020 classs, has a great time by all accounts at late Night, most experts call this one a UNC vs Oky st race and all the sudden whispers begin that Cunningham doesn't care if he plays the point or the 2 and may not be as married to Oky st just because they gave his brother the job. Roy has put in the primary target work on the kid, most see that now as close to a dead heat with UNC having the momentum.
Love, a Coby like combo that is transitioning to the point, as kessler is committing to us is busy cancelling all his remaining visits and announces he is down to UNC and Missouri (had already visited Missouri) and announces he will make his commitment Tuesday.
All the crystal ball picks, 9 for 9, immediately flip for UNC, including Evan daniels who had not missed yet, who does not make his pick until he knows something concrete.
Yeah, this one is done...
The hot names for us to watch now are ZWillams, Bryce, CC, Puff, and the shooter Roy just offered. Roy wants Cade for that 1 season so Love and Jeremiah can get a years worth of experience (Jeremiah getting solid on those wheels). ZWill and Puff are the long wings that are very good scorers and Bryce is that knock down jump shooter.
I am looking at a heck of a front court rotation in Sharpe, Bacot, Brooks, Kessler, maybe the small ball option of ZWill or Puff as a stretch 4 but with that rotation they could settle in as long wings and battle Leaky for PT. I am thinking at this point we have a great shot at getting either ZWill or Puff but it is beginning to look like not both. I like Bryce as a guy that can handle the ball a bit but is a great jump shooting threat from mid range all the way well past the 3. I understand the kid Roy just offered is a solid jump shooter as well, right now I have not done any leg work on that kid.

If Bacot returns we currently have 5 open scholarships, that said if he leaves we have 6 scholarships open. The commitment of Love gives us the third. Question is does the staff use Bacot scholarship because I'm sure his intentions isn't 100 percent know, injury or bad season would force him back. So I'm asking does the staff take 5 and then wait till spring to see what he does and if so does it affect Zaire and Cade. Say we get one of Thompson, Puff, or the new guy just offered .Roy is still going hard after 4 wings. This tells me that he would take 2 of them or worst case one of them if committed. If so that would give us 4 commits and one open until spring, leaving room for only Cade or Zaire. Also possibly we take two commits after love and then get neither. The fact the staff is going hard with many wings still with just two spots makes me think they will start first 2 commit whether is Zaire or Cade.
Cade going from October to now announcing end of November or mabye even latter doesn't bode well for us . Seeing how we could get 2/3 more guys before then and therefore no room for both them to come .If your Roy do you wait or with recent struggles take whoever commits first .

I don't envy coaches trying to plan future rosters in the age of OAD, I'm sure most of them lose a ton of sleep over it.

Again, this is the same guy that bounces back and forth from UNC & Duke boards pretending to be fans of both. He is constantly changing his screen names so people don't recognize him, but his grammar gives it away every time. For the record, I have no idea if he is a real fan of Duke or UNC, but he was on DI asking for tickets to CTC.
I'm wondering why Ziare is waiting until spring to commit if he is truly down to UNC vs Stanford? He has already taken officials to both (multiple to UNC) and really has no one in front of him he needs to worry about leaving.
Seems like once Love comes aboard tonight, and given Z's statements of wanting to play with a top flight PG, that Ziare would commit relatively soon.

Comes down to this really, what is more important to him, a legit shot at playing for a national championship, the mega stage to show his game, being involved in the 2 biggest non-tourney games in college basketball or playing for a program his brother is an assistant coach for. It is really hard to beat family connections...
DSouthr, Cunningham is a sure fire high lottery pick and long term NBA player. How long does his brother stay on the staff at Oklahoma St when his brother is making millions upon millions in the NBA. My guess is not very long.
