One more thing. I worked for a veterinarian back in HS for several summers. There was one breed of dog he refused to ever work on, pit bulls. He said they were bred for one thing and all the inbreeding over the years had basically short circuited their wiring. He said one minute they were as sweet as any dog you'd ever meet and the next they would chew your face off. And you never knew when they would flip. Said once they latched onto you, there was no getting them off without killing them and since they were so powerful they could get over (and sometimes through) gates and fences, so keeping them in an open run in the back with other dogs could be a recipe for disaster. I saw him turn away many folks who brought them in. Told me all I needed to know about those dogs.

Sometimes the best revenge is just the legal options available. Take pictures of injuries immediately. Get his name from internet license plate look up site and call animal control and report the attack.
They will send someone to his house to investigate and get an incident report. He’ll have to suffer the indignity of neighbors seeing animal control at his house. He will have to show that the dogs shots are up to date and that hes paid up on taxes and fees. Usually peole arent so at very least he’ll have to go through updating all that. (Several hundred $) Plus now theres an incident report on the dog. After two incidents BY NC LAW he will be dragged to court and a panel will determine if the dog should be deemed dangerous. If so he will be hit with a multitude of restrictions. Another incident after that and the dog is taken.

A dog with multiple incident reports bit my sons leg skateboarding. I woulda been happy with an apology and at least some concern for the injury. Instead i got an attitude from the fat bitch about my son skateboarding. So i said fine, lets let the legal system handle it and i called animal control. Turns out the mutt was a repeat offender on dangerous dog restriction and had been terrorizing neighbors riding by on bike and had bitten several. Month later her demonic ankle muncher was sucking gas at the pound.

It's amusing to me how many responses in this thread (that's supposed to be about helping @Raising Heel) instead are probably making him have a sad.

Screw @Raising Heel. This isn't about him anymore. This about the bloodthirsty gang of idiots we have here at OOTB getting revenge for something that didn't happen to any of us.
