Considering this election from a different POV- (not supportive of Trump or Hillary)

Well, I don't think it's ever "too late." No matter who wins the presidential election, the country will survive and continue on. Even I dialed-back on the SHTF if Trump were to win. So, I'm good either way.

I don't want America to be the same in 2020 as it is now. But, I'm assuming you're referring to we would no longer have a democratically-elected republic. I think we will.

A choice when voting has been an illusion for 32 years now. Trump is the first one to break that mold.

Surely you see this Strum. This is right up your alley. The 2 party system is in effect the 1 party system. Trump offers the first real choice since 1980.

Yes, I see that he doesn't fit into the 2-in-1-party system. I'll give you that.

Watching people defend this grotesque buffoon as a legitimate candidate for president is really making me start to question my faith in humanity.

Just kidding I never had any faith in humanity to begin with

And isn't that your biggest gripe with elections today? That we are only given the illusion of choice?
Yes, it is a gripe. It's huge gripe.

But, just being a candidate that is outside of them doesn't automatically make that candidate appealing to me, and it doesn't automatically make them qualified.

So it's not your top priority then?

The growth of his wealth has failed to keep up with the growth of the market. If he had just invested the money he got from his daddy in index funds he'd have more money than he does today. Which means he's not even the successful businessman that his supporters love to claim he is.
He's not sitting in his mommy basement like you are.

Well, as I said, the quality of the candidate matters as well. Just because the candidate claims to be an outsider, that doesn't automatically make them qualified to be president.

I think it's great that Trump got into the 2-party system and broke ranks. That's actually encouraging. But, his rhetoric, his attitude, his general demeanor are just very unstable and dangerous to me.

Clinton just appears to have galvanized all of DC establishment- both sides- to denigrate him and praise her. They're all looking out for their own best interest.

To me, there's not a lot to look forward to, no matter who wins, to me. I don't find either of these two to be promising. Now, if he wins, and he brings about this "drain the swamp" shift, awesome. I hope he can and does. If I've misjudged his candidacy and his intentions, I'll admit it. He has shown that he was willing to shine some bright lights on DC ineptitude and being all-talk. His campaign has added a variable that will have an impact on all future presidential election cycles.

Not to mention, there are people that support Trump!

But no one will be able to break ranks without his kind of personality.

You aren't ever going to get a perfect candidate. Better to take advantage of one who fits most of your criteria.

This one is for your alter ego, Strum.

Maybe Trump is autistic. He was making fun of a reporter though, who happened to have a disability that resulted in his arms being disfigured and bending in a flailing way, so obviously it was taken that he was mocking him. You know how this could be avoided??? Don't mock or make fun of ANYONE and act like an adult running for the highest office in America!!! He brings all of this on himself!

Speaking of dangerous, Strum- does this strike you as someone you trust to make big decisions? (Hit play- all pics)
