let me break it down for the challenged…some areas, respect masks, some don’t…some areas even respect vaccinated, some don’t…where we were, completely respected everyone, masked or not(if you are vaxxed, no need to wear masks) or (masks required inside)…do you understand what i’m saying?

As for your point, I’m still not sure if you’re saying Blacksburg was “respectful” or not “respectful” of your delicate sensibilities. And by that, I guess you were taking mask wearing as some indicator of how “respectful” the local community is. Blacksburg is a pretty conservative area. By this point, as the school has grown, I’m sure it’s not as conservative as it once was and dainty, liberal fags like yourself are probably ok there these days. But don’t stray too far outside of town. Those good ol boys in that area might take advantage of you. And you being all frail and weak (even more so than usual because of your recent bout with COVID), you wouldn’t stand much chance of fighting them off.

If you're not wearing an N-95, it's pretty useless. Aerosol virus is getting through all of these cloth masks that most people wear, indoors or outdoors.
If you have an N-95 fitted mask, then it might help a little.
Exactly what I said months ago on this very thread. Those dollar general 3 for a dollar masks are useless. People think just putting something over their nose and mouth is all they need.

But, this is an interesting demonstration.
Now, a mask of any kind is, technically, better than NOTHING. But, how much better? I dunno. If you're infected, it could help to keep the virus in, better than wearing nothing. But, again, I dunno by how much. I wear the N-95s.
