What grocery store allows no mask in NC?
Lol
You can ignore the control of the virus in Germany or other countries because they haven't scientifically proven the causation, OR just do what they're doing cause it works and you want your economy back.
Masks prevent the escape of larger droplets so those droplets don't evaporate, becoming smaller particles borne by air.
Goody gumdrops!
Nevada man's COVID-19 reinfection, the first in the US, is 'yellow caution light' about risk of coronavirus
A 25-year-old Nevada man is the first American confirmed to have been infected twice with COVID-19. He was sicker the second time.www.yahoo.com
Spain/France actually didn't have mask mandates til Sept, and were pretty wide-open regarding nightclubs, bars and restaurants, and all kinds of stuff thru the summer, the way Tx, Fl, AZ, etc did after memorial day. So like everywhere, young people spread it, (UK guys said some people relax too much), then it slowly moves to all demographics.France and Spain also require masks and have very high compliance. Why didn’t masks work for them?

Just last week Paris ordered bars to close for two weeks.
So in the early post I mentioned "masks among other things". Cuz masks aren't a cure-all. The other things are
- only "opening" when you have low level of spread
- doing strong test / trace / isolate,
- distancing in public transit, etc.
Hey dipshit, if you look at the pretty pictures in your article you'll see spain and france are listed in the same category as USA. Do you consider USA "high mask usage"?this is not true. Both Spain and France had much higher mask usage- link below. If you are going to try to make a point with me, you need to understand what you are talking about. I doubt this will ever happen based on your posting history though, so I will be forced to continue to show you to be the idiot that you are
from the link (published July 17):
High reported usage in France, where people needed a self-signed permission form to leave home at the height of lockdown, and Spain, where children weren’t allowed outside, reflects high death tolls, strict lockdowns and mandatory mask policies in those countries
Here’s the thing, son. I don’t care if you wear a mask or not. But my learned opinion is that they make no difference at all when put into practice and your example of Germany is easily countermanded, as shown above.

And that paragraph references the height of measures, back in Spring. Your paragraph literally says "at height of lockdown". Nice spin.
As of July France required masks on transpo but not in shops or the workplace - https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...-face-masks-over-covid-19-fears-idUSKCN24H15L They've gotten much more serious since the summer.
Do your research.
And are you going to ignore the part about their bars and restaurants being open all summer thru tourist season? Full bars and restaurants, in which they don't require a mask, no distancing enforced (til very recently).
Question-
Are peanuts deadly? If you eat a peanut, will you die? No, of course not.
But what if you have a peanut allergy? And you eat a peanut? You dead.
so which killed you? The peanut or the peanut allergy?
same with Covid and co-morbidities
Comparing having Covid-19 to having an allergy to peanuts??? AYFKM???why?
Actually, the peanut Nazis have eliminated peanuts at churches, schools, birthday parties, and many other public gatherings, FYI.Comparing having Covid-19 to having an allergy to peanuts??? AYFKM???
What in the hell has happened to you?
First of all, it's pretty easy to avoid peanuts, if you do have an allergy to them. People who don't have peanut allergies are not unwittingly exposing those who do, with peanuts, peanut dust, peanut anything! It's a completely different condition, and completely different circumstances.
This is a respiratory disease. And, basically everyone can get it. And, of you have it, you can transmit it, very easily! Everyone won't have the same reaction. Regardless of your comorbidity, you can still suffer from the virus. Some people may have no symptoms. Some people may have no comorbidity and will still die if they get it.
I'm not endorsing the idea that society should live in paralyzing fear of this thing. But, this will be a lot easier if people galvanize and realize that to get through this with the least amount of human loss, that we have to be observant and protective of OTHER people, not just ourselves!
...and a recently published study showed that 85% of those that contracted the COVID wore masks, as directed, for 14 days or more before contracting the disease.Comparing having Covid-19 to having an allergy to peanuts??? AYFKM???

Hey, but I get where you’re coming from. It’s seems, at first intuitive, to believe that a mask will protect you, but ‘science’ has proven that is not the case. Seems that the full hazmat suit with the 7000 series charcoal air filtration is the only way to completely avoid the COVID.Comparing having Covid-19 to having an allergy to peanuts??? AYFKM???

Fwiw.
I know, it sucks. Fvck those people and their allergies! Your convenience is much more important than other people's lives.Actually, the peanut Nazis have eliminated peanuts at churches, schools, birthday parties, and many other public gatherings, FYI.
If there's a harder, more costly (in dollars and lives) way to do it, Americans are sure to find it and proceed in that direction!Hey, but I get where you’re coming from. Absolutely, seems everyone’s allergic to something. Dump the bubble wrap and get out there and live life. It’s a dangerous proposition, always has been, always will be. Hell, right now my niece with the peanut allergy is more likely to be killed by antifa or BLM than a peanut.I know, it sucks. Fvck those people and their allergies! You can't give someone an allergy. So, the comparison is ridiculous.I disagree. People with peanut allergies are constantly on alert. This is not a simple condition. But you can change the analogy to bee stings if you want. It still applies
how many people have died from kungflu vs how many have died with the kunglfu? The answer is readily available if you look.
This illness should concern you if you have serious co-morbidities. Other than that, life needs to return to pre Batflu standards.
Like dying from bullet vs dying from blood loss with bullet, amiright? You can live a really long time while being morbidly obese, or with COPD, hypertension, etc, etc.how many people have died from kungflu vs how many have died with the kunglfu? The answer is readily available if you look.

Technically, I don’t think you’re giving them anything. They are actually taking it from you.You can't give someone an allergy. So, the comparison is ridiculous.
About 75,000 more Americans died from COVID-19 pandemic than reported in spring and summer, study finds
Other diseases, delayed care, fear of seeking care and emotional crises stemming from the pandemic may have contributed to excess deaths, experts say.amp.usatoday.com

I'm not "scared" of it. Most people aren't "scared" of it. Talk about terrible at analogies! You make me have laugh! What about people who get shot at and don’t even get hit? What about those that get hit and are barely hurt?
you are terrible at analogies.
and Chris Christie survived the Chyna Flu, so apparently being extremely obese isn’t that big of a deal. And Trump kicked its ass too, so being old and fat isn’t a big deal. And I have a fat, 55 year old type 1 diabetic, pack a day smoking Hispanic man who works for me who got it and he’s fine.
but you can be as scared as you want. Just leave the rest of us alone.
I'm not "scared" of it. Most people aren't "scared" of it. Talk about terrible at analogies! You make me have laugh!
However, it is a reality that people are getting this, and- depending on how you measure "a lot"- a lot of people are dying. This is a real threat to our economy, to our whole way of life.
At the rate this is going, we'll probably have 350,000 people die. It might be more if the winter months bring worse circumstances. I would have never believed that in March. Now, it seems inevitable. And, the impact it is going to have on the economy is not even known at this point.
The country, and the world, will survive it... eventually. But, it's not a good time to be president, when you're really just a reality TV show star.
Yet there will still be a bunch of idiots that want to turn being a selfish asshole into a political philosophy. It doesn’t matter how many people die. Half the country could be dead and if it were liberals telling people to wear masks, then trump supporters would still be out there refusing to put them on.
What is your legitimate question?I have a legitimate question. My sister in law works at a local drycleaner. Her boss just called her in to tell her he is positive. Its been 2 days since he tested, and has been all over the office they work in. They do not santize the store at all. She and one other has been in direct contact with him yesterday. He told them to listen to their body and not get tested unless abosolutely nessisary because he didnt want to hurt his business. She is suppose to go camping with her son and 5 months old grandkid this weekend. He told her to tell noone at all, not even her parents
She needs to quarantine. Being in poor ventilation with her for 15 min would be unwise, for a 5 month old. So if they're camping (she's in her own tent or trailer) and she's never indoors with anyone, then perhaps she could risk it if she rarely gets the quality time with the kid.I have a legitimate question. It can take a few days to buildup the material detected by the PCR tests.
Example, she could've been exposed yesterday (breathed in enough airborne crap from the boss), but she might not yet test positive today because her body hasn't built up to detectable levels.
Onset of symptoms is tween 3-14 days, but average is like 5. Even if the doesn't have symptoms she could still be contagious though. Contagiousness begins like 2 to 3 days after exposure on avg, i think.
She should quarantine now and go test a few days after her last exposure. If she's going into indoor bathrooms, or gas-stations then it is probably irresponsible for her to not just stay home though.
Also, this part ^ is really f'd up considering she might be around an infant and considering that people without symptoms can spread it. Children are at barely any risk compared to adults, but this changes for kids under 1 yr old.He told them to listen to their body and not get tested unless abosolutely nessisary because he didnt want to hurt his business.
I guess the last line didnt come out. Is this illegal? What is your legitimate question?
That is a legitimate question. I highly doubt that it is, but I'm not sure about the laws regarding this in NC. I'm sure there are some kind of restrictions or exemptions based on the size of the business and the kind of business.I guess the last line didnt come out. Is this illegal?
