Sal Mauro from Bergen Catholic in N.J. did not visit but teammates Emmanuel Appiah and Gene Coleman did visit. Heckendorf will visit their school again in the spring. Both players got time with Larry Fedora and there's genuine interest. Mauo went to UConn instead and told me he actually regrets not going.
Cade Carney got a ton of time with Gunter Brewer and they went over the A-Back's role in the offense in great depth. Carney was pretty impressed by the presentation and thinks he fits the position perfectly. Wake Forest is recruiting him the hardest but UNC would be next and I couldn't help but believe he was very excited by how the day went.
