Saw a segment from NBA TNT crew about them talking about Dean Smith the other day. Shaq shared his thoughts and experiences regarding Dean and said at the end that he was about to commit to Carolina but we signed Wenstrom before hand. I would have LOVED to have had Shaq in the baby blue!! Can you imagine Shaq, George Lynch, and Rick Fox together? Of course who knows if Montross would have come to Carolina then, but damn!

I remember the Shaq recruitment and we were out of it pretty early(never heard any reason at that time) I think Shaq really enjoys hearing himself talk. I put as much credence in that as I do Pat Ewing's "tall" tales.

Considering he "said" a few weeks ago that he got paid while at LSU, I'm glad he didn't come here.
I'm just REALLY REALLY shocked that if he did get paid, he didn't attend a different SEC program that has a history of shady dealings.
