You nailed it. The game is a shadow of what it used to be because you can't hold a roster together. You wind up with three-point shooting contests and high school all-fields star teams. It sucks. College football on the other hand, is the best it's ever been.

Maybe baylor was thinking we were toast too, so just an UNBELIEVABLE job by Hubert to get them focused for OT. Baylor was 1 - 11 in OT.

I wod ered why McCoy over Puff in OT? Would've thought Puff is better for beating the press. I think we also should've gotten Bacot the ball more inside. Defense was fantastic though.
Those folks calling for Hubert's head really need to realize that their position has not aged well at all! I honestly do not think Roy would have seen this team go to the sweet 16, especially after what this ref crew did to us in that second half. Our head coach was a master today and his players really rallied around their coach!
I’m not gonna say I agreed with everything he did today (timeout on last shot with regulation, McKoy inbounding, etc) but kudos to the whole staff for keeping the lads in it for overtime. I know I had mentally checked out so damn impressive that they hung in there and finished it.
Im not sure I buy that Roy couldn’t have pulled off similar but it’s irrelevant. Hubert did and by God I’m thrilled about it
