Supposedly, last year Napier took his name out of Auburn's short list because he felt the Tiger boosters were a bit volatile and that the program seemed divided.

Are any boosters any more demanding and intrusive than Gators boosters?

can’t believe lincoln riley is going to scal…f that.
I thought for sure he would go to LSU. He's smart enough to know that OU entering the SEC is highly likely to turn out much closer to Nebraska in the BT or Miami in the ACC than to the OU that has dominated the Big 12. OU will have a whole bunch of 9-3 to 7-5 teams in the SEC.

LSU owns a state that per capita turns out more NFL players than TX, and LA has a long border with TX.

It will be easier for Riley to totally dominate the Pac South at SC than to win just 2 SEC West titles in a decade at OU or to win 3 SEC West titles in a decade at LSU.

Riley personally has made a much smarter move that OU and Texas have into the SEC. Texas and OU both are going to lose many more games inn the SEC than they have in the Big 12/ They can boast about being in the toughest, best football conference, and they will get a whole lot more money. But they are going to learn to live with many more fat Ls.

At SC, Riley could own the division.

maybe, we’ll see…that scal job used to be great…i would’ve entertained lsu or just go to the nfl.

Napier may work out well at UF. They are finally getting a state of the art football facility down there which should help recruiting. Could have had the South Carolina job last year, but wanted a huge budget increase for all the behind the scenes support staff that UGA, Bama, and Clemson have. USC was too cheap to go there so he backed away. Good football coach, we will see if he is the one to get UF back on track
