I think we'll win tonight, but it's not gonna be pretty. Marcus is going to get hot in the 2nd half and we'll be alright.
Paige scoreless in the first half hits a corner three and Jackson scores on a banker than Cooney another three. 40-36
Cooney doing it all as he scores on a layup as two Carolina players play matador defense on his drive.
I know it's never gonna change as long as Roy is here but my gosh, watching his teams lack of defense on the 3 point line is exhausting.
Syracuse has 2 scorers. Cooney and Richardson and old Roy will let them shoot until he's beat. Cooney at least comes off of illegal screens. Richardson is nothing but a stand still jump shooter and we still can't guard him.
Why don't we ever get a player like # 10 of Cuse? Because we don't recruit players like him because he's not a 4 or5* coming out of HS. We do t recruit them. Taking a chance on a kids like him I think would pay off. And if it doesn't work. It's only 1 schollies.
Cuse is only 8-24 from 3? That's surprising, but still they are taking way too many threes on us. Gotta tighten up.

those rims are ridiculous... I don't think I've ever seen this many LOOOOOONG rebounds in a game
Plenty of talk from our team about how it learned its lesson after Texas - looks like that was absolutely not the case. Talk is cheap
47-46 for the Cuse as the Orange keeps shooting threes and UNC keeps having turnovers. Jackson must be hurt because Pinson is getting a tremendous amount of minutes and really not contributing much.
Roy just absolutely boggles my mind with these lineups. Somebody tell him to give Kenny Williams a try. He couldn't possibly shoot worse then Pinson. He recruits a shooter and leaves him on the bench the entire game while the other team is playing 40 minutes of zone defense.
Probably just limiting Jackson because of him being sick. We need him instead of Theo for sure though.
The problem is the same as the last few years. Zones hurt us since we aren't a really good outside shooting team. Hope they prove me wrong now that I have said it. PROVE ME WRONG HEELS!!!!!
