Again. Why don't we ever recruit kids like Conney here at Carolina. I just think it is a huge mistake not to have pure shooters and players that play with toughness like he does.
Jackson comes in and Cooney immediately scores on him and then Jackson gets called for a tvl. Another great pass from Johnson leads to a score by Hicks and then Britt goes off his man and makes a steal and hits a streaking Jackson for a layup chopping the 6 point orange lead to 1. Britt now getting the chance to covet Cooney since no one else has been able to,stop him.
Meeks was are leading scorer in the first half. And I haven't seen him much in the second half.
Also, As somebody else mentioned, Syracuse isn't a highly skilled team but has a few kids that can shoot it but they are pretty tough and get after it. Teams under Roy aren't necessarily known to like to play physical and this is one of those games.
56-55 as Richardson FINALLY gets caught for a illegal screen that had been giving Cooney clean looks all night long.

The point was that this is the 4th game straight a player had a Season high against us.
