The defense is good, but they are letting cuse go over our backs a lot. No points for JJ and Paige and still we lead. Got to get both of them going

Two excellent interior passes from Johnson have lead two easy layups by James and then Jackson scores after a Paige miss and the lead grows to 27-20 forcing the Cuse to call time out.

Berry turns his head for just a second and clone hits his 3rd three then he his a jumper from the corner and Richardson Capps off a8-0 blitz for the Orange with another three and the home team retake the lead 28-27.

That last foul on Hicks was so weak. Did he even bump him? If he did, it was incidental. Every time someone goes to the floor, even tripping, it doesn't need to be a foul. Sure hope we get Justin and Marcus going.... or Nate or Berry. Someone HAS to be able to hit 3's.
For us on defense, the only 3 that bother me are the ones naturally WIDE OPEN, off of offensive rebounds.

Carolina getting beat on the boards and REALLY OUTHUSTLED going for loose balls. Johnson one on three scores at the buzzer and the game is tied 33-33 at the half. Meeks, Johnson and James combine for 22 points. Except for Berry who has 7 at the break no other guard for UNC has scored. Meeks looks pretty strong so far in his return. On the ball defense pretty good but someone must decide to get their nose dirty and fight for some rebounds. Hicks again in foul trouble as he has three.
Not playing to bad. We just seem to be shooting to many threes late. Instead of going inside. And they are getting more of the 50/50 balls. And are beating us on the boards. A lot of it has to do with many long rebounds on missed threes. Luck we weren't down at half.
Yeah, if two people have incidental contact why is the foul on the guy who didn't fall down? It wasn't any more his fault than the guy who fell down.
Someone needs to get in Cooney ' s face because he is shooting a three everytime he touches the ball.

Cuse is getting a ton of long rebounds on us... those rims are tight.
We just need to work inside-out; seems like we are getting impatient with that zone, which is what they want us to do.
