yes I think he does. Look as Williams. But it never would hurt to take a chance on a kid like #10 or kids that smaller schools that seem to find those shooters. And I also think that Roy doesn't take chances on kids like Cooney. He only goes after blue chippers. But being an Elite school like Carolina. We should only get Elite players. But getting or giving a chance to a player like Cooney would only help the program.
Further proof that this team has a lot of weapons. When one or some struggle, others step up. Aside from the two losses this team has become gritty and I like it.
No doubt. Paige has 3; Cooney has 27, and we are down by 6 in the second half? Game over I'd say. The way especially Brice and Hicks, and then also Jackson passing and finishing late - played the last 8 minutes was SENSATIONAL.
So true. We did just jack up a lot of 3s late in the 1st half. But it is a little consurning that we couldn't make any threes at all. Considering we were playing against a zone defense. But was great to see the bigs pick it apart.
And this is the 4th straight ACC game we have won. Maybe that's a good thing.
We did shoot terribly from 3, but I feel like part of that was shooting in a dome is something we're not used to. And those rims were ridiculously tight; I've never seen so many long rebounds in my life.
Could be. But if I would if I were a coach of a team going against us with better talent than Cuse. I would try and play zone and dare us to beat us from the outside. Not saying it would work. But would try.
I thought it was very pretty. We shot awesome in the second half, rebounded better, and put on a zome-busting clinic, and were more than solid from the FT line. Really locked down their shooters late, too. What were we expecting, to blow their doors off? Cuse was prolly as up for this game as any one they've played in a couple years, because of the Boheim thing and UNC being highly ranked.
