I hear all of this, but we couldn't ever play 6/7 guys because all we do is foul.
You teach the kids to move their feet and actually play defense.
You shorten your rotation by playing the damn kids who commit themselves on both ends of the floor. It's pretty simple. As an example, if Kennedy Meeks can't commit equally as much effort on the defensive end as he does on the offensive end then his ass should shit and his minutes should decrease.
Anybody else want to tell me I'm crazy for saying we lose the first weekend of the tourney?

These 2 losses were predictable, against good teams on the road. I think the majority of our fans are softer than our team, and definitely whinier. We will finish 14-4 in the league & have the #1 seed in the ACC tourney, is that so bad? There were lots of positives from this game if you watched closely enough. Gonna win the next 4, then go 2-2 in the last 4, which will of course bring back the "sky is falling" crowd. Play in the ACC title game and we r a #1 seed, maybe just need to get to the semis. Lose before the semis & we're a 2 seed. Have just recently joined the boards but this is a fickle bunch, after we win the next 4 some will be crowning us National Champs .......but only until the next loss, then some HS teams could beat us on a good night. SMH.
No. The criticism is deserved and nobody is softer and more feeble then Justin Jackson right now. He and Meeks are going to be back next year because they both need to get their education. NBA isn't in their futures. The way these guys are playing I could see 5 more conference losses as realistic. Dook and Miami at home. Moo U , UVA , and Dook on the road
Just watch, this team is nowhere near as bad as some people on here make them out to be. I'm sticking with a 14-4 prediction in conf. Also sticking with the prediction that after the next 2 losses, whenever they occur, many will be on this board saying we are soft & we have no chance at a FF.
Collectively they are soft. Not aggressors and just want to play finesse. Meeks and James are listed at 260 and 280 and both go 6'9"-6'10" but they both play smaller then freaking Bonzi Colson. Not everyone but enough that it's an issue. Because if it isn't the fact they are soft it's the reality that some of these guys aren't that good. Cough , cough.... Justin Jackson.
i haven't cared about the acc tournament since the early 90's so me hoping they get it together by then is a waste of energy.

Justin Jackson is about as overrated as they come. Most of Roy's recruits are.
The first part might be right but the latter isn't. More often then not Roy's guys develop pretty well. You always have those that plateau early at every program.
