I'm planning to re-up with Playstation Vue. Other cable-cutter options are Sling and what...?

I suppose I should check Sling again. I tried it briefly last November but it didn't work very well. But maybe they have fixed the glitches and I believe they have altered their channel lineups.

The last time I checked, Vue offered more sports channels, but also cost more.

My main objective is to catch ALL the UNC games and as many of the other ACC games as possible.

Frankly, if there were an ACC package for a fair price, that's all I'd need.

Question for Vue users:

Does Vue's Cloud DVR let you rewatch games or timeshift? I know it does for regular shows that you designate as favorites, but is that true for games, too?

If you want to use a questionable service you could do any old streaming device such as chromecast, fire stick, etc... and kodi. Questionable service though.

A coworker is using Sling and thinks it is great. I am going to go one more year and monitor his experience. This is the only time of year that it would matter to me and I can't be having glitches when there is a Tar Heel game on.

Yeah, that's my feeling, too. When Sling glitched during the free trial period last fall, I went back to Comcast. But when I got Vue for a month over the summer to watch the Olympics, I had no real problems that I think would carry over to basketball season. (There were problems using their Cloud DVR because when you looked for specific Olympic events, they were so poorly labeled you often couldn't tell what was what. But I assume that won't be a problem with BB games.)

I will be at the Dean Dome (I'm a current grad student), watching ESPN3, going to friends' houses, or hitting up sports bars on/near Franklin Street.
